Schlagwörter: Faseroptische Rückstreusensoren, Hochgefüllte Dispersionen, Inline-Ü berwachung, PhotometrieThe use of fiber-optic backscattering sensors for inline monitoring of the particle concentration in highly filled dispersions and lacquer systems is shown. Through the miniaturization of the distance between transmitter and detection fiber to < 600 mm, the light can also permeate high disperse phase fractions of up to 60 %. Due to the measurement setup, both transmission and scattering effects can be found in the resulting signal. The possible mathematical description of the resulting nonlinear measured curve using a simplified model follows.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
