The TPACK framework describes the kinds of knowledge required by teachers for successful integration of technology in teaching. TPACK is the heart of good teaching and describes the kinds of knowledge needed by a teacher for effective technology integration. In this study, such teachers' TPACK development strategies as Learning by Design Approach, Lesson Study, Microteaching, microteaching lesson study are analyzed after an analysis of the process of TPACK formation and its components. In addition, TPACK development models like SQD-model, TPACK-COPR, TPACK-IDDIRR and TPACK-COIR are also reviewed in this study. At last, further study on subject-dependent TPACK development in a comparatively large scale is put forward.
To arouse rural primary school students' English learning interest, broaden their horizon and promote their critical thinking, we construct a series of digital education resources which include not only language points of phonetics, vocabulary, language skills of English teaching and learning but western and Chinese cultures. The results show teachers and students' roles and discourse power changed by using the digital education resources in the process of rural primary school English teaching and learning.
With the establishment and development of Xiong'an New Area in China, more foreign industries and visitors will be attracted to come here. Investigations made in our study show that the environmental English public signs are very important. They can offer directions for foreigners who can't understand Chinese well because they have these three functions: indication, suggestion and prohibition. In order to help Xiong'an New Area play its "eco card", the translators are supposed to attach great importance to the translation of environmental English public signs.
With the development of tourism industry in internet plus era, travel blogs have become the main form of travel recording. Regarded as a valid device to intrude readers and to construct interaction between the writers and their readers, interactional metadiscourse is adopted widely. The study builds a corpus which consists of 30 English travel blogs. By calculating the occurrences and analyzing the functions of interactional metadiscourse, the study chooses qualitative and quantitative analysis to indicate how blogger writers communicate with the readers within narrative travel blogs and how they influence the reader's future travel experience by using typical interactional metadiscourse.
In order to widen college English teachers' ecological niche and promote their teaching ability, we make an empirical study on college English teachers' teaching ability and ecological niche on the basis of Ecological Niche Theory. The paper shows how to take advantage of micro-lectures, make full use of 5C teaching strategies and form multiple teaching and learning evaluation and online teaching and learning community to improve discourse power between students and teacher, to change the role of students and teacher. In this way, college English teachers' teaching ability will be improved greatly.
