This study aims to determine the branding strategy at MTsN Purbalingga Regency and to determine the level of effectiveness of branding management strategies at MTsN Purbalingga Regency in 2018 to 2020. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. This method is used to describe and analyze branding management strategies at MTsN in Purbalingga Regency and describe user responses to branding management strategies at MTsN Purbalingga Regency. The places chosen to conduct the research were MTsN 01 Purbalingga, MTsN 02 Purbalingga, and MTsN 03 Purbalingga. Informants from this research are principals, teachers, staff, and students. Then to select and determine the informants in this study, the researchers used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this research are using content/document analysis techniques, in-depth interviews, and events/observations. The method used to check the validity of the data is the triangulation method. The data analysis technique used in this research is interactive model analysis. The stages in analyzing the data in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1). the branding strategies that have been carried out by MTsN in Purbalingga Regency between one MTsN and other MTsN are the same and some are different, this of course depends on the branding management carried out by each school. MTsN 1 Purbalingga, namely by improving the quality both in terms of achievement and non-academic namely character building, MTs Negeri 2 Purbalingga emphasizes efforts to attract interest in terms of performance and community service, while MTs Negeri 3 Purbalingga in an effort to attract interest by achieving good academic achievements and non-academic and performance services for both teachers and employees; 2). The effectiveness of the branding strategy carried out at MTs Negeri Purbalingga Regency in 2018 to 2020 is quite effective in increasing public trust.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan LKS berbasis HOTS terhadap Motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa Kelas VIII SMP N 1 Petungkriyono Kabupaten Pekalongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan variabel terikat berupa motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA dan variabel bebasnya adalah LKS berbasis HOTS. Desain penelitiannya yaitu desain kelompok kontrol nonekuivalen. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 53 siswa yang terbagi dalan dua kelas yaitu 25 kelompok eksperimen dan 28 siswa kelompok kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan berupa angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar IPA. Data motivasi dan hasil belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan independent t-test dan multivariat test (MANOVA) dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (α = 0,05).Hasil analisis perbedaan rata-rata motivasi belajar menghasilkan nilai 0,000 (2-tailed) sedangkan hasil belajar menghasilkan nilai 0,909 (2-tailed) dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil uji multivariat pada Hoteling trace menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKS berbasis HOTS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar tetapi Penggunaan LKS berbasis HOTS tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci: LKS berbasis HOTS, Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar IPA THE EFFECT OF USING HOTS-BASED STUDENT WORKSHEET ON MOTIVATION AND LEARNING OUTCOME IN SCIENCE STUDIES AMONG STUDENTS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AbstractThis study aims to describe the effect of HOTS-based Student worksheet on motivation and learning outcome in science studies among grade 8 students of Junior High School 1 Petungkriyono Districk Pekalongan.This research was a quasy-experimental study involving student’s motivation and science learning outcomes as the dependent variable and the higher order thinking skills based student worksheet as the independent variabel. This study employed the non-equivalent control group design. The research subject consisted of 53 students who were randomly selected, comprising 25 students in the experiment group and 28 student in the control group. The research instrument consisted of a test to measure science studies learning outcomes and questionaire to measure student's motivation. The data were analyzed using the independent t-test and multivariate test (MANOVA) at the significance level of 5% (α = 0.05). The result ofthe analysis on the everage score differences in motivation shows 0.000 (2-tailed) while the result on the everage score differences in student’s outcome shows 0.909 (2-tailed) with significance level of 5%. The Result of multivariate test in Hottelling trace shows significance level at 0,000. This result shows that the use of HOTS-based student worksheet has positive and significant effect on student’s learning motivation, but it does not have positive and significant effect on student’s science learning outcome. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal pola melalui penggunaan media busy book pada anak usia 4-5 tahun TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Jebres Surakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan tiga siklus. Model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam penelitian ini berupa perencanaan, tindakan, pengematan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 4-5 tahun dengan jumlah 20 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian tindakan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal pola. Kemampuan mengenal pola pada anak Kelompok A2 TK Negeri Pembina Jebres Surakarta meningkat ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata ketuntasan anak pada pratindakan sebesar 40%. Kemampuan anak mengenal pola pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 15% menjadi 55% anak yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan, Siklus II meningkat sebesar 15% menjadi 70% anak yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan, dan Siklus III meningkat sebesar 10% menjadi 80% anak mencapai nilai ketuntasan dan telah melampaui target pencapaian yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media busy book dapat mengembangkan kemampuan mengenal pola pada anak kelompok A2 TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Jebres Surakarta. Kata kunci:Kemampuan mengenal pola, media busy book, anak usia dini ABSTACT The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to recognize patterns through the use of media busy books in children aged 4-5 years TK Negeri Pembina Surakarta. This type of research was classroom action research (CAR) with three cycles. The Classroom Action research model in this study was form of planning, action, savings, and reflection. Research subjectc were children aged 4-5 years with total of 20 childrens. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview, documentation an test. The results of this action research show that there was an increase children ability recognize patterns. The ability to recognize patterns in children A2 group TK Negeri Pembina Jebres Surakarta increased shown by the average completeness of children in peaction by 40%. The ability of children recognize patterns in the first cycle increased by 15% to 55% of children who achieved completeness, cycle II increased by 15% to 70% of children who achievement completeness, and cycle III increased by 10% to 80% of children achieved completeness and has exceeded the achievement targets set by researchers. Based on this description, it can be concluded that use of the media of busy books can develop the ability to recognize patterns children in the A2 group of TK Negeri Pembina Jebres Surakarta.
Bamboo is one of the economic plant which grow widely in the villages and have been used by the local people in the villages. Indonesia has about 10% of the world bamboo, 50% among them was endemic to Indonesia. According Widjaja (2001) Lesser Sunda Island which consists of Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Timor, Sumba and other small island eastern of Flores has 14 bamboo species, however, the information from the Sumba Island was lacking because of lacking data from this area except one species which was proposed by S. Soenarko in 1977 where the type specimens was collected by Iboet 443 in 1925. To fullfill data from the Sumba Island, an exploration to this area has been conducted on July 2003. The observation was done in West Sumba and East Sumba District, especially in two natioal parks at both districts. According to this inventory study in the Sumba Island, there were 10 bamboo species in Sumba Island, 1 species among them (Dinochloa sp.) was a new species which has not been collected before, whereas the other species (Dinochloa kostermansiana) has a new addition record from this area. The bamboo species in Sumba Island were Bambusa blumeana, Bambusa vulgaris, Dendocalamus asper, Dinochloa kostermansiana, Dinochloa sp., Gigantochloa atter, Nastus reholtumianus, Phyllostachys aurea, Schisotachyum brachycladum and Schizostachyum lima. From 10 recorded species, the genera Dinochloa and Nastus grow wild in the forest, whereas another species grow widly or cultivated in the garden. Furthermore, the genus Dinochloa was the only genus grow climbing. The endemic species found in Sumba Island was Nastus reholttumianus, whereas Dinochloa kostermansiana was also found in Flores Island.
School action research (PTS) aims to improve and improve the learning system in schools. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of teachers to use computers in teaching through the implementation of workshops. Data collection in this research is by observing and reflecting on the actions of teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Kubu. The results showed that the implementation of workshops on the ability of teachers in teaching by utilizing computers has increased compared to before the reflection of actions that are 90% with excellent categories, seeing the results can be concluded that the implementation of workshops on the ability of teachers in teaching by utilizing computers is very effectively applied in SMP Negeri 1 Kubu Babussalam Rokan Hilir Regency.
