In this democratic era, the ethnic advancement of a nation or region in Indonesia is like a double-edged knife, it can be both rich and prone to conflict. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a tolerant attitude in togetherness, through excavation of sources of tolerance as a reference. This research uses the historical method including the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Heuristics and criticism were carried out on historical sources obtained in Makassar, Mataram and Sumbawa Besar. It turned out that the leading factor in the Sultan as a role model, as well as accepting and granting land for settlement to each ethnic migrant, including making the church as a means of worship. The Sultan's example also represented a tolerant attitude that was always open to accepting and living in harmony with ethnic migrants. The history of the Sumbawa Sultanate, found the values of character education as local wisdom which is very valuable to foster tolerance and togetherness. The values of character education are none other than universal values in Pancasila. The present generation learns history and learns from the history of previous generations. Character education remains a priority in the field of education development in Indonesia.
Following a rigorous, carefully concerns and considered review of the article published in Jurnal Integrasi dan Harmoni Inovatif Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial (JIHI3S) to article entitle “Kewirausahaan masyarakat perkebunan Dieks Afdeling Malang” Vol. 3, No. 1 (2023), DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um063v3i12023p29-39. This paper has been found to be in violation of the Jurnal Integrasi dan Harmoni Inovatif Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial (JIHI3S) publication principles and has been retracted. The article contained redundant material, the editor investigated and found that the paper published in International Journal of Social Sciences and Education, Vol. 3, No. 2 (2022), DOI: https://doi.org/10.26858/ijosse.v3i2.42450. The document and its content has been removed from Jurnal Integrasi dan Harmoni Inovatif Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial (JIHI3S) and a reasonable effort should be made to remove all references to this article.
The meaning of social harmony in the Dalam Loka Palace is reflected in the layout and architecture of multi-ethnic city. The learning model research methods include problem analysis, formulating a draft model, expert validation, model revision stage 1, limited trial of the initial model, model revision stage 2, extensive trial, final revision, and model preparation. Through validation and testing, a suitable model has been produced to foster the harmony of multiethnic life. The uniqueness of the model is the partnership of the regent as regional leader and the sultan as the holder of the Samawa tradition and culture according to the regional motto of Sabalong Samalewa. With the uniqueness of the model, it is hoped that it can eliminate the potential for conflict through the implementation of policies on internal and external factors of the model in development in the area concerned, which touches various aspects of multi-ethnic life. Melalui validasi dan pengujian, dihasilkan model yang cocok untuk membina kerukunan hidup multietnis. Keunikan model tersebut adalah kemitraan bupati sebagai pemimpin daerah dan sultan sebagai pemegang tradisi dan budaya Samawa sesuai semboyan daerah Sabalong Samalewa. Dengan keunikan model tersebut, diharapkan dapat menghilangkan potensi konflik, melalui penerapan kebijakan faktor internal dan eksternal model dalam pembangunan di daerah yang menyentuh berbagai aspek kehidupan multi etnis. Textbooks are media that play an important role in learning activities in the classroom. In this research, the textbook that used the object of research was the Indonesian History Textbook for SMA Class XII, especially the military narrative on the material of the struggle to national disintegration. However, there are narratives that have words or sentences that can show understanding of multiple interpretations. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the discourse in the textbook on military narratives so that they can be understood and avoid negative perspectives. So the method uses critical discourse analysis of the Teun A. van Dijk model, which includes three structures are macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure to see word choice and sentence structure in military narration in textbooks. This research by using a qualitative design with text analysis methods and literature/document studies as data collection methods. The result shows that the military narrative is shown as the central figure who defends the country.
