Harmful drug use by women is a growing problem. The objective of this study was to identify and discuss the relationship between gender inequality and the factors that lead women to abuse psychoactive substances, as well as the difficulties encountered in the performing treatment. This is a qualitative study, in which a semi-structured interview was conducted with seven women undergoing treatment at the Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and Drugs -CAPS ad in Manaus, Brazil. The results indicated some issues related to gender inequality as influencing the maintenance of drug abuse by women, discussed in five categories: 1st Notions about gender inequality; 2nd use of drug abuse; 3rd lived social vulnerabilities, 4th Difficulties in treatment; 5th Perception of public policy for women with drug problems. Thus, it is concluded the importance of discussions and new research with a feminist context to address this problem, in order to think about better forms of prevention and treatment aimed at women and their particularities.
Violence against women is an issue of great importance given the increasing statistics of feminicide in the Brazil. This study aimed to analyze the literature published between 2012-2017 in the format of scientific articles on the possibilities of fighting these violence. Articles were collected in the Virtual Health Library base (BVS) through the descriptor "Fighting AND Violence Against Women" and the findings were analyzed based on the elaboration of a literature review protocol and then submitted to Content Analysis. 15 articles composed the final revision and culminated in four nuclei: Access to care networks and identification of violence; Intersectoral coordination and articulation; Notification; Family / community support, religiosity and financial support. It is concluded that in order to confront violence against women, it is necessary the commitment of several social actors, involved in an articulated work that promotes female empowerment and the deconstruction of gender inequalities.
É um estudo de abordagem quantitativa do tipo exploratório descritivo fundamentado no método de revisão integrativa de literatura, cujo objetivo foi analisar as publicações científicas sobre as características de usabilidade digital com maior impacto comportamental, por meio de revisão integrativa de literatura de 2000 – 2014 na Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS). Foram analisadas 26 produções através de uma planilha e um roteiro elaborado para extrair as informações. O ano de maior publicação sobre a temática foi 2012 representando 19%, o periódico com mais frequência de publicações foi a Revista Escola Ciência da Informação, as publicações por grau de titulação do autor foram graduandos, mestres e doutores no ano 2012. As produções foram didaticamente expostas em tabelas e gráficos conforme os objetivos propostos. A literatura reconhece a importância dos avanços tecnológicos e todo impacto que tem na vida das pessoas e dos seus usuários e busca novos artifícios que venham a contribuir com o uso benéfico de toda tecnologia.
