The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of occupational therapy on attaching shoelaces to the improvement of fine motor skills in mentally disabled children in SLB N 1 Badung. This research method is quantitative research with pre-experimental research design pre-post test one group design. The result of univariate analysis of the intervention of 41 respondents before being given occupational therapy for fine motor development was 1.20, and after being given occupational therapy, fine motor development was 1.41. The results of this study showed the average fine motor development during the pre-test was 1.20. After being given the occupational therapy treatment of attaching shoelaces, the average fine motor development was 1.41. Data analysis results with the Wilcoxon test get a value of 0.003 or p <α (0.05). In conclusion, occupational therapy influences placing shoelaces on fine motor skills in children with moderate mental retardation in SLB N 1 Badung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sikap orang tua dengan kejadian obesitas pada anak usia 6-12 tahun di SD Negeri 1 Banyuasri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua yang memiliki sikap positif terhadap obesitas pada anak usia 6-12 tahun adalah sebanyak 24 orang (53,3%) dengan anak yang mengalami obesitas sebanyak enam orang (13,3%). Hasil analisa data dengan uji Chi-Square memperoleh nilai 0,000 atau p<α (0,05). Simpulan, ada hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap orang tua dengan kejadian obesitas pada anak usia 6-12 tahun di SD Negeri 1 Banyuasri. Kata Kunci: Anak Usia 6-12 Tahun, Obesitas, Sikap Orang Tua
Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan permasalahan kesehatan yang ada di SD Negeri 1 Jagaraga Bali. Dari hasil wawancara, masih banyak terdapat kasus Diare dan penyakit yang berhubungan dengan saluran pencernaan terutama pada siswa SD N 1 Jagaraga. Oleh sebab itu, menjadi suatu pemikiran bahwa perlu dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) khususnya Cuci Tangan sebagai solusi untuk permasalahan ini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi dan keilmuan praktis, sehingga mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak Sekolah Dasar. Selain itu, tujuan kegiatan penyuluhan kepada siswa dan siswi di SD Negeri 1 Jagaraga ini yang dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) sekolah adalah: (1) Memberi sosialisasi pada siswa dan siswi di SD Negeri 1 Jagaraga tentang Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di sekolah. (2) Membekali siswa dan siswi di SD Negeri 1 Jagaraga dengan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di sekolah. (3) Meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dan siswi di SD Negeri 1 Jagaraga tentang Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) Cuci Tangan di sekolah. Kegiatan dilakukan selama dua Hari. Hari Pertama dilakukan kegiatan berupa pengenalan PHBS Cuci Tangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode demontrasi dengan media Leaflet dan Video. Pertemuan kedua dilakukan kegiatan demontrasi bersama enam langkah cuci tangan. Berdasarkan pengamatan, selama kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berlangsung, diperoleh beberapa hal yang positif dari siswa SD N 1 Jagaraga Bali. Hal Positif tersebut adalah: 1) Peserta menunjukkan antusias dan perhatian yang sangat tinggi terhadap materi yang disampaikan oleh tim pengabdian. 2) Hal positif ditunjukkan oleh para peserta dengan melakukan Cuci Tangan sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang telah diajarkan dengan semangat. 3) Kekompakan terlihat pada anak SD N 1 Jagaraga dalam demontrasi cuci tangan yang dilakukan secara bergantian. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa dan siswi tentang Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di sekolah, memberitahukan siswa dan siswi tentang pentingnya Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di sekolah, dan menambah wawasan atau pengetahuan siswa dan siswi tentang Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di sekolah
Tuberculosis is one of the diseases that causes the biggest death in the world. TB is acontagious disease that can be cured but requires a long treatment. One of the factorsrelated to TB patient compliance in the treatment of one is family support and selfmotivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between familysupport and self-motivation with medication adherence for TB sufferers in the SawanI Community Health Center. This study was a correlation study with a cross-sectionaldesign. There are 53 respondents selected by nonprobability sampling with a purposivesampling technique. The data were analized with the Spearman rank test and theresult was significant relationship(p value 0.000) and coefficient correlation was 0,545which means it have positive relationship . It means there was a significant relationshipbetween family support and self-motivation to medication adherence for TB patients atthe Sawan I Community Health Center. In conclusion the better the family support andself-motivation of TB patients, the more obedient TB patients in treatment.
This study aims to determine the effect of applied behavior analysis therapy on social interaction in children with autism aged 7-12 years at SDLB SLB Negeri 2 Buleleng. The type of this research is pre-experimental research with one group pre-post test design. The results of the univariate analysis, most of the respondents were male 53 respondents (85.5%), the level of moderate social interaction was 46 respondents (74.2%) autistic children before being given treatment, and the high level of social interaction was 40 respondents (64, 5%) autistic children after being given treatment. The results of this study indicate an effect of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with a high level of social interaction totaling 40 respondents (64.5%) of autistic children after being given treatment. The results of data analysis with the Wilcoxon test get a value of 0.000 or p <α (0.05). In conclusion, Applied Behavior Analysis therapy has an effect on social interaction in children with autism aged 7-12 years at SDLB SLB Negeri 2 Buleleng.
