The analysis of the bicycle infrastructure in Novosibirsk is carried out. The principles of functioning and the current state of the bicycle infrastructure are considered. A number of problems in this field were identified, including the lack of a unified bicycle transport network and the insecurity of the movement of cyclists in the traffic stream. The results of the research will be used in the development of an geographic information system designed to analyze the city bicycle infrastructure. This system will visualize the main elements of the bicycle infrastructure on an interactive map, construct bicycle routes, and also collect data on the state of the infrastructure through interaction with users. The geographic information system will be useful in the development of strategy for the designing of the bicycle infrastructure of the city by the relevant departments, and it will also find its application as an information and navigation system for bike owners.

The article considers the problems of the traditional approach to organizing lectures and offers the improved teaching methodology that takes into account the results of modern research and experience of foreign education systems. The advantages of the new approach to organizing lectures are highlighted.

Development of the animated three-dimensional computer model for application in educational process when teaching the discipline "Aerology of the mining enterprises" is considered. The demonstration model created as result of the project will improve the quality of mastering of the theoretical material within the subject area.

Educational independence is an action that allows a future teacher to discover and subsequently appropriate the meaning and content of professional activities. The modern practice of training at the university often implements reproductive methods of teaching, according to which a future teacher learns to restore the accumulated experience of organizing teaching activities. At the same time, he/she does not master certain ways of constructing the meaning of his/her professional education. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the importance of the implementation of activity games in the university classes, which contribute to the manifestation by future teachers of the initiative in setting the goal of education, mastering their abilities to organize their own activities, and ways to improve it. Empirical research methods clearly demonstrate the need to use activity games as a resource in the formation of educational independence.
