This study aimed to describe (1) the teachers understanding on the nature of science, (2) the application of the nature of science in teaching science, (3) the barriers ocoured during its implementation and (4) the solutions which was done to solve the learning problems. Designed as qualitative research, this closed to case study approach. This study in teaching learning process at the junior high school in SMP Negeri 1 Selong, SMP Negeri 1 Terara, and SMP Negeri 1 Masbagik. The data were collected trought observation, interview, questionnaires, and documentations. Triangulation is used to assess the credibility, truth, relevancy of the data and was done using Miles and Huberman intractive model of data analysis. The findings of the study showed (1) the teachers have low understanding about nature of science, (2) the teachers was seldom in applying the nature of science in learning process (25,0%), (3) the barriers found by the teachers was inapropriate of the subject materials with time managements, aspects of cognition oriented, students’ mental readiness and the teachers is not understanding of the nature of science, and (4) the teachers dominantly used discussion and speech methods than used inquiry methode in teaching learning process.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan melalui pemanfatan program google classroom, (2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan melalui pemanfatan program google classroom, dan (3) mendeskripsikan tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pemanfatan program google classroom pada perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus mencakup 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I yaitu rerata prestasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 6,4 dengan presentase kelulusan sebesar 75,8 % Dan presentase ketidaklulusan sebesar 24,2 %, serta rerata motivasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 77,5 dengan kategori positif. Hasil pada siklus II menunjukkan rerata prestasi belajar mahasiswa adalah 84,1 dengan presenase kelulusan sebesar 97,0 % dan presentase ketidaklulusan sebesar 3,0 % serta motivasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 79,9 dengan kategori positif. Disamping itu, hasil penyebaran angket menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pemanfaaatan google classroom sebesar 79,4 dengan kategori positif
Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is learning based on contextual events in daily life. The development of teaching materials assisted by android applications in learning physics is a very necessary thing and needs to be carried out continuously. This research aims to produce android-assisted PhyCCTM teaching materials that can improve the ability of argumentation. This research is research and development. The development procedure refers to the development model adapted from the 4D model which consists of four stages namely defining, designing, developing, and distributing. Content validation was carried out by four lecturers and seven physics teachers. Field trials are carried out in schools by applying the quasi-experimental method and using the control group pretest and posttest design. The trial was conducted by taking two classes as experimental and control classes. Improvement and differences in the results of students' argumentation abilities in the experimental and control groups were done by t-test. The research results obtained are android-assisted PhyCCTM teaching materials to improve the ability of argumentation worthy to be used with the category of "Good" and android-assisted PhyCCTM able to improve students' ability to argue with sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. The conclusion obtained from this study is that Android-assisted PhyCCTM teaching materials developed are feasible to use and are able to improve students' ability to argue.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, dan mendeskripsikan respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP N 5 Praya Timur pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 23 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar dan respons siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran dengan tahapan-tahapan dalam setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui pengisian lembar kerja siswa (LKS)/tugas, nilai game/permainan, dan tes akhir siklus. Data respons siswa dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian dikatakan berhasil apabila aspek hasil belajar menunjukkan Daya Serap Siswa (DSS) ≥ Keriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu 70 dan Ketuntasan Klasikal (KK) ≥ 85%, dan respons siswa minimal berkategori positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu dari 74,0 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 73,9% dan standar deviasi 6,8 pada siklus I menjadi 75,5 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87% dan standar deviasi 6,4 pada siklus II, dan respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 77,8 dengan standar deviasi 2,3 dan kategori positif. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP N 5 Praya Timur pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.
Integration of the spiritual values and knowledge of students which are summarized into a learning outcome becomes the focus in the development of physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies with the main objectives: (1) to design a valid physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies at Madrasah Aliah, (2) to analyze the practicality of physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies at Madrasah Aliah, and (3) to analyze the effectiveness of physics teaching materials based on Al-Qur'an studies at Madrasah Aliah. The research design used was 4D Model (Definition, Design, Development and Deployment). The sample in its implementation was at MAN 3 Mataram. The technique analysis used were Validity Analysis, Practicality Analysis, and Effectiveness Analysis. The percentage of classical mastery of the students was 76.92% which was categorized as good. Thus, according to the theory put forward by J. Van Den Akker, that the teaching materials have been operationally effective to provide learning outcomes as expected. The results of these tests indicate that the development of teaching materials based on the study of the Qur'anic science is very effective in achieving students’ learning outcomes as a form of mastery in learning. In concusion, the overall teaching materials in the development of the prototype book as physics teaching materials based on al-qur'an studies for Madrasah Aliyah Students can support students’ learning achievement both in the cognitive aspects and more specifically in the knowledge and spiritual aspects.
