Research on structural design of grey simulative effect jacquard fabric is the key to obtaining nice grey shading effect of fabric. In this paper, by merging the characteristics of traditional manual design method and the application of digital design technology, a design method of grey simulative effect jacquard fabric were introduced with design illustrations, and this study is carried out to analyze the relationship of structural design and fabric effect via increasing a new grey layer. Differs from the effect of traditional grey simulation jacquard fabric, the design innovation of grey simulative fabric are capable of producing black-and-white simulative effect accurately and meeting the technical requirements of mass production for achromatic jacquard fabric. It provided a new design concept for digital jacquard creation.
Visual illusion is a new computer abstract art style in information age. Depending on digital design technology, applying digital image with visual illusion, digital jacquard fabric featuring visual illusion effect is produced based on the application of half-backed woven structure. Key technology is that using digital layered-combination design mode and backed structure design method, the structure of jacquard fabric can be designed to express entire color changes of yarn. If random covering effect among weft yarns were realized in compound fabric structure, delicate and random color transition can be produced on face of fabric. In this paper, the design principle and method of visual illusion effect digital jacquard fabric were introduced and analyzed with proper design illustrations and objective results. It is envisaged that this study has good reference to design innovation of digital jacquard fabric.
Research on innovation design of visual 2.5D effect black-and-white digital jacquard fabric is carried out based on layered-combination design mode and design method of full-color compound structure. Black-and-white digital jacquard fabric designed by combining two digital patterns together can express two patterns on face of fabric at same time. As long as lustrous yarns are employed to produce jacquard fabric with full-color compound structure, and juxtaposed colorless yarns cannot be covered by each other, black-and-white digital jacquard fabric could express good grey shading effect. Viewed from different angle, two overlapping patterns will show figured shot effect so-called visual 2.5D effect. In this paper, design principle and method of visual 2.5D effect black-and-white digital jacquard fabric were introduced clearly with proper design illustrations. It provides good value for design innovation of black-and-white digital jacquard fabric.
