Objectives: to validate entrepreneurial management technology for the nursing practice. Methods: methodological study, carried out based on the development of an entrepreneurial management technology, based on literature review and, later, content validation by 11 experts, recognized by their peers as entrepreneurs. The validation process took place through Delphi conferences, between June and September 2018. Results: on the second round of Delphi conferences, at least 90% agreement was obtained on all items. In addition, all items were validated as pertinent and considered prospective and inducing of new thinking and acting among nursing professionals who wish to undertake and explore opportunities, goods, and services in the area. Final Considerations: it was noted that the experts, in general, showed good adherence to the initiative and ease in validating the theoretical-conceptual dimension and the dimension of “Personal/professional qualities necessary for the performance of entrepreneurial management”; however, they had difficulty in validating the methodological steps.
Background: Home visits have become increasingly widespread in Brazil since the emergence of the Family Health Program. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the professional skills need to conduct these visits during their education. Objective: The aim of this study was to understand the meaning of home visits to Brazilian health students under the light of the principles of Edgar Morin's Complexity Theory. Methodology:The Grounded Theory approach was used in this study. Data collection was performed between December 2014 and July 2016 by interviews with students and health professionals who graduated during the previous year and are working in the Public Health System in the South of Brazil. Results:The students experience an order-disorder-order-(re)organization process. It results from the inter-weaving of three aspects: confrontation with reality, selfreflection and transcending personal limits. Conclusion:The results of this study show that the process of emotional and professional (re)organization takes the course of order, disorder, order, self-reflection and overcoming limits. The study also reveals that persistence, interactions, dialogue and theoretical discussions during the education program are fundamental to overcome the limits of scientific knowledge and changing personal attitudes towards more solidarity.
Objective: To (re)mean nursing care, through permanent education based on the Learning Incubator. Method: Research-action conducted from a process of permanent education in health, based on the Learning Incubator, between July and December 2018, with the participation of Nursing professionals. Among the demands suggested by nursing managers of a teaching hospital, the following themes were considered for the (re)significance of Nursing care: Vital signs, Body hygiene, Oral hygiene and Isolation precautions. Results: From the data analyzed, there were three thematic categories: Distinguishing the technical, routine and mechanized dimensions of care; Attributing meanings to Nursing care; (Re)thinking professional attitudes and postures. Final considerations: (Re)meaning nursing care implies the induction of critical-reflexive strategies. Permanent health education, based on the Learning Incubator, is a prospective artifice for the (re)thinking of professional attitudes and postures, crystallized by traditional reproductive and fragmented knowledge.
