A dual-channel including a colorimetric and fluorescent probe based on the aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) and enzymolysis approach has been presented to screen acid phosphatase (ACP) and its inhibitor. Moreover, the ACP activity was determined by real time assay.
A simple self-assembly platform based on squaraine-embedded CTAB micelles can readily discriminate between Cys and Hcy with different absorption and fluorescence signals. The recognition mechanism is attributed to the fact that analyte adducts trigger the CTAB micelles to undergo sphere-to-rod transition.
Two benzoxazole-derived ESIPT fluorescent sensors and show highly selective detection of Zn(2+) and Cd(2+), respectively, in aqueous solution and living cells. The selectivity switching from Zn(2+) to Cd(2+) is attributed to the different binding mode which is dependent on the 3'-O-substituted arrangement.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
