Durante décadas, en el área de Dirección de Operaciones, se ha destacado la necesidad de un acercamiento entre el mundo académico y el profesional, reclamando la realización de estudios empíricos que aporten soluciones prácticas a los profesionales. De ahí que durante los últimos años se hayan producido dos fenómenos clave: la convergencia entre los temas objeto de investigación y los temas de interés para las empresas; y un aumento en el número de estudios empíricos realizados. Ahora bien, otro factor importantísimo a la hora de aportar conocimientos prácticos a la disciplina es la herramienta o metodología aplicada. Por ello, el desarrollo de nuevas herramientas o la aplicación de otras ya existentes en otros campos es un tema interesante. Es en este punto donde adquiere importancia la Metodología de Rasch. Esta técnica ha sido tradicionalmente utilizada en disciplinas tales como la Psicología o la Medicina. Sin embargo, ya hace algunos años que ha comenzado a utilizarse en otras áreas de conocimiento, entre ellas, el área de Administración y Dirección de Empresas. No obstante, su aplicación al campo concreto de Operaciones es escasa y, por ello, las posibilidades de desarrollo e investigaciones futuras son numerosas. La Metodología de Rasch, útil para el diseño y la explotación de encuestas, se basa en tres principios (unidimensionalidad, aditividad e invarianza) y permite obtener medidas objetivas a partir del análisis de variables categóricas. Entre sus múltiples aplicaciones destacamos las siguientes: análisis de la viabilidad y fiabilidad globales, análisis de la unidimensionalidad del constructo, análisis de escalas del cuestionario, jerarquización de los ítems y/o de los sujetos, análisis DAFO… Es, por lo tanto, una metodología muy rica con multitud de posibilidades para su aplicación en la disciplina. Dado su incipiente desarrollo en esta área de conocimiento el objetivo de este trabajo es, por un lado, presentar la Metodología de Rasch y, por otro, realizar un análisis bibliométrico (con el software Sitkis) sobre el Modelo de Rasch aplicado al área de la gestión (Management). Este análisis permitirá: observar la evolución temporal de las publicaciones, conocer cuáles son las obras de obligada consulta, conocer los autores de referencia en el área así como las publicaciones más importantes. Se considera que el presente trabajo es interesante dado que da a conocer una novedosa metodología para su aplicación en el área de Operaciones y, además, aporta información relevante para todos aquellos que, interesados en la misma, quieran ampliar sus conocimientos. Previous research has shown that the best educational practices are built on the basis of interaction in the classrooms, regardless of their level. However, the dialogue among the students themselves and between them and the teacher is still more scarce than desirable, especially in the university context. Taking this weakness into account, the authors of this contribution propose a Teaching Innovation Project (TIP) as a means of confronting the reality of this matter and advancing in it through an interdisciplinary collaboration involving 16 teachers, who participate as external observers, representing all the Faculties from the University of Cantabria (Spain). Here, we present the design of the TIP that we are currently developing, the working methodology and an advance of the first partial results. Specifically, each of the 16 people involved in this TIP will externally evaluate 6 teachers from their own field of knowledge. The aim is to identify varied interaction practices throughout the university. To develop this process we have designed three observation scales: one for students, another for the teacher in action and a third for the external observer. Data will be collected between October 2018 and May 2019. The ultimate goal is to promote innovation in university teaching through interaction in the classroom in order to achieve the active learning of the students. We hope to contribute to inspire other universities that may be interested in following our steps.

However, new studies on the topic appear because it seems that there are still questions to be resolved. Therefore, the key question is what future research lines should be developed. As such, the possibility of carrying out a systematic review of literature was raised. However, given the high number of systematic reviews published in recent years, the final objective of this paper is to perform a meta-review of the concept of continuous improvement. Therefore, this study presents the research protocol followed to perform a meta-review of the concept of continuous improvement; being the main objective of the meta-review to know the state of this field of study and to find out where future research should be oriented.</span></p>
