Sistem Kredit Semester diselenggarakan melalui pengorganisasian pembelajaran variatif dan pengelolaan waktu belajar yang fleksibel. Pengorganisasian pembelajaran variatif melalui penyediaan unit-unit pembelajaran utuh setiap mata pelajaran dikenal dengan Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri atau UKBM. UKBM merupakan hal yang baru, sehingga penerapan UKBM memberikan perubahan dalam proses belajar mengajar serta pola pikir peserta didik dan pendidik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penerapan Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri mata pelajaran biologi kelas X lintas minat SMA N 1 Kendal tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 berdasarkan Standar Nasional Pendidikan dan analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis data menggunakan Standar Nasional Pendidikan dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri mata pelajaran biologi kelas X lintas minat SMA N 1 Kendal tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi sudah sesuai dan memenuhi Standar Nasional Pendidikan. Kekuatan dari penerapan UKBM lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan kelemahannya yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran yang baik sesuai dan memenuhi SNP serta UKMB dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Kelemahan UKMB adalah peserta didik dengan kecepatan belajar lambat merasa waktu terlalu singkat. Peluang dari penerapan UKBM juga lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan ancaman sehingga keberadaan UKMB dapat terus dikembangkan untuk membantu peserta didik belajar.
The results of the 2015 PISA (international student assessment program) assessment of high-level skills (HOTS) in OECD member countries (organization economic cooperation development) Indonesia is ranked as the 62nd, lower than Vietnam and Thailand. These results indicate that the HOTS skills of Indonesian students are classified as very low. This research develops a learning implementation plan that is integrated with the FAR analogy method and examines the learning implementation plan that is developed from an Islamic perspective. The result of the development that has been carried out is the integrated learning plan implementation of the FAR method with feasible criteria to use. The results of the planning expert assessment were 92.7%, material experts 84%, practitioner I 94.4%, practitioner II 98%, practitioner III 98%, Practitioner IV 97%, and practitioner V 96%. Analogy (amtsal) in Islam, is widely used by the Koran to explain an abstract event or event and train the Muslim mind to be able to think properly and be able to use a logical and healthy syllogism. The use of analogies in education can help train higher-order thinking skills, make it easier for students to remember concepts, motivate students, train students to draw conclusions correctly, and visualize abstract objects.
<p>Education is one of the fields or perspectives that have significant developments in the progress of the times. Technological developments are developing the world of education, called the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore, several things must be mastered, namely competence in each student's life and multiliteracy in mental, physical, and intellectual capacities. One is Science Literacy Ability and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). In addition to knowledge competence, students must also have confidence in themselves to do and do well, namely self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between scientific literacy skills, HOTS, and self-efficacy as mediating variables. This type of research is correlational with the survey method. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling with a sample of the population of class XI SMA students who are studying biology. Techniques and data collection instruments using tests in the form of questions (scientific literacy skills and HOTS) and statement questionnaires (self-efficacy). The research was conducted in March-May 2022 at SMAN 3 Semarang. Analysis of research data using quantitative descriptions. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between scientific literacy ability and HOTS with an influence proportion of 7.9%, there is no relationship between scientific literacy ability and self-efficacy with an influence proportion of 0.2%, there is no relationship between HOTS and self-efficacy influence 1.2%.</p>
<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik desain prototipe <em>big book</em>, menguji kelayakan <em>big book</em> untuk digunakan sebagai sumber belajar siswa SMP, dan menguji efektivitas <em>big book</em> untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran siswa SMP<em>.</em> Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE menurut Branch. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah <em>cluster sample</em>. Data yang diperoleh terdiri dari data observasi, angket uji validitas, angket tanggapan peserta didik dan data hasil <em>pretest</em> dan <em>posttest</em>. Hasil penilaian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran <em>big book</em> ini layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, berdasarkan penilaian kualitas <em>big book</em> oleh ahli materi, ahli media, guru mata pelajaran dan peserta didik berturut-turut memperoleh persentase 84,48%; 83,30%; 87,50%, dan 84,61%.Tingkat keefektifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan <em>big book</em> memperoleh persentase 40% yang artinya kegiatan pembelajaran dengan <em>big book</em> ini belum efektif. Hasil uji <em>normal gain </em>atau uji peningkatan hasil belajar memperoleh nilai rata-rata 0,29 yang berarti peningkatan hasil belajar masuk kriteria rendah. Belum efektifnya hasil uji efektivitas dan uji <em>N-gain</em> yang rendah ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain: kegiatan pembelajaran yang kurang maksimal dalam hal ini pemilihan pendekatan pembelajaran, model pembelajaran atau metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat.</p>
