: THE RELATIONSHIP KNOWLEDGE AND NURSING COMMUNICATION WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PATIENT RECOVERY PLANNING INPATIENT RSUD ZAINAL ABIDIN PAGARALAM WAY KANAN 2018 Background: In Indonesia, as many as (61%) nurses in Yogyakarta do not undertake home planning. In addition, research conducted in Bandung showed that as many (54%) nurses did not carry out the planning home. In Lampung Province, especially in Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Way Kanan Hospital, based on observation of the list of outgoing patients, not all nurses write home plans for the patients. Only 32 list (25%) of the 128 list of information have been made back home (Medical Record of RSUD Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Right Way, 2017).Purpose: To know the relationship of knowladge and nurse communication with the implementation of planning to go home in hospital room of Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Hospital Right Way of Year 2018.Methods: The type of this research is quantitative, the design in this study used the design of Analytic Survey with cross sectional approach, the number of population and the sample of 72 people, the sample technique in this study is the total sampling. The research will be conducted at RSUD Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Way Kanan Year 2018, with questionnaire research instrument and statistic test using chi-square test.Results: In this research, it was found that 38 (73,7%) were not good enough and 10 (26,3%) were good implementation with p-value (0,001) and 37 respondents had bad communication obtained 28 (75,7%) the implementation is not good and 9 (24,3%) the implementation is good with p-value (0.000).Conclusion: There is a Significant Relation Between Nursing Knowledge and Communication With Implementation of Planning Home in the Inpatient Room of Zainal Abidin Pagaralam Hospital Right Way of Year 2018. The knowledge, attitude, and compliance: Implementation of health protocol policy in Covid-19 prevention Background: The World Health Organization as Public Health Emergency of International Concern, PHEIC) has designated coronavirus Disease–19. The ways to transmit Covid-19 is through hand contact and hand hygiene, the most effective way to prevent nosocomial infections by attitude and knowledge of nurses play an important role in implementing the implementation of hand hygiene in a health facility environment. Since the pandemic the behavior of nurses has changed significantly, nurses' knowledge of the chain of transmission of the Covid-19 disease has increased, one of which is through hand contact.Purpose: To identify the relationship of knowledge, attitude, and compliance: Implementation of health protocol policy in Covid-19 preventionMethod: A quantitative with observation and questioners and uses a Cross-Sectional approach. The design of this study uses a survey and the population in this study were all visitors and employees as many as 120 respondents at the Kemiling Health Center, with total sampling.Results: Based on the results, the average age of the respondents was 41 years with a value (mean) of 34.9±6.28 with 78 (65%) female gender and high school education (58 (48.3%) patient and family respondents 42 (35%). Civil service respondents' occupations 44 (36.7%) information got from television 61 (50.8%) the length of information got by respondents was 15 months with a value (mean) of 13.82±2.52. Respondents' knowledge was poor 73 (60.8%) attitude of respondents did not support 78 (65.0% It concluded that there is a relationship between demographic data and Implementation of health protocol policy in Covid-19 prevention with the Chi-Square statistical test with a p-value = 0.000≤ 0.05. The attitude of respondents at risk is 10,681 times greater for compliance with the 5M Health protocol at Kemiling Health Center Bandar Lampung.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship of knowledge, attitude, and compliance: Implementation of health protocol policy in Covid-19 prevention. Recommendation for Health Center management to do health promotion and straightly health protocols.Keywords: The knowledge; Attitude; Compliance; Implementation; Health protocol policy; Covid-19 prevention.Pendahuluan: Corona Virus Disease – 19 telah ditetapkan oleh WHO (World Health Organization) atau Badan Kesehatan Dunia sebagai Kedaruratan Kesehatan Masyarakat yang Meresahkan Dunia (KMMD). Penularan Covid-19 salah satunya adalah melalui kontak tangan dan hand hygiene merupakan cara yang paling efektif dalammencegah terjadinya infeksi nosokomial,namun pelaksanaan handhygienebelum mendapatkan respon yang maksimal dari petugas kesehatan. Sikap dan pengetahuan perawat menjadi peran penting dalam menerapkan pelaksanaan hand hygiene di lingkungan fasilitas kesehatan. Sejak pandemi perilaku perawat mengalami perubahan dengan signifikan, meningkatnya pengetahuan perawat akan rantai penularan penyakit Covid-19 yang salah satunya melalui kontak tangan.Tujuan : Mengetahui adanya hubungan yang mempengaruhi sikap dan pengetahuan terhadap kepatuhan protokol Kesehatan 5M selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Rawat Inap tahun 2021.Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode observasi analitik dan menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengunjung dan pegawai sebanyak 120 responden di Puskesmas Kemiling menggunakan total sampel.Hasil : Didapatkan bahwa rata-rata usia responden 41 tahun dengan nilai (mean) 34.9±6.28 dengan jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 78 (65%) dan Pendidikan SMA (58 (48.3%) responden pasien dan keluarga 42 (35%). Pekerjaan responden PNS 44 (36.7%) informasi yang didapat dari televisi 61(50.8%) lama informasi yang didapat responden 15 bulan dengan nilai (mean) 13.82±2.52. Pengetahuan responden buruk 73 (60.8%) sikap responden tidak mendukung 78 (65.0%). Dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara data demografi dengan kepatuhan protocol Kesehatan 5M dengan uji statistik Chi-Square dengan nilai p-value = 0,000≤ α 0,05 sikap responden beresiko 10.681 kali lebih besar terhadap kepatuhan protocol Kesehatan 5M di Puskesmas Kemiling Bandar Lampung.Simpulan :Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap dan pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan terhadap protokol kesehatan selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Rawat Inap Kemiling Tahun 2021. Disarankan bagi Puskesmas Rawat Inap Kemiling mengutamakan program In House Training atau Pelatihan PPI Dasar bagi petugas Kesehatan dan memperketat protocol kesehatan.
Introduction: sharp medical waste is not only able to cause scratch and stab wounds but also to infect wounds when they are contaminated by pathogen. A pre-survey result done by the researcher in wards of dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo at 20 January 2019 to 10 nurses concerning activities of nursing care and medicla waste management including needle, syringe, and bandage that were disposed without sorting.Objective: the objective of this research was to find out the correlations of nurse’s motivation and leadership style to nurse’s behavior in sharp medical waste disposal in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital in Bandar Lampung. Method: this was a quantitative analytic survey research by using cross sectional approach and it was conducted in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital from March to April 2019. Population was all nurses and samples were of total sampling. Data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate (chi square test) analyses.Result: there were 31 respondents (54.4%) with poor medical waste littering behavior, 34 respondents (59.6%) with low motivation, and 29 respondents (50.9%) with bad leadership style. There were correlations of nurse’s behavior (p-value 0.000; OR 11.70) and leadership style (p-value 0.012: OR 4.725) to sharp medical waste disposal in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2019. Conclusion: there were correlations of nurse’s motivation and leadership style to nurse’s behavior in littering sharp medical waste in dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo public hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2019. Nurse education data obtained from the results of the pre-survey on November 6, 2021, obtained health workers who served in the Emergency Room (IGD) as many as 21 respondents, with the division of 4 midwives, and 17 nurses who were divided into 15 nurses with D3 nurse education, 1 nurse education nurse, and 1 education nurse S.Kep. Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada Hospital, there were 6 patients and 3 of them said the communication services performed by nurses when interacting were not communicative when performing nursing actions, less friendly and less attentive between nurses and patients. To find out the relationship between education level and tenure with nurses' skills in performing therapeutic communication in the Emergency Room (IGD) Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada Hospital. This type of research uses quantitative, analytical survey research design with a cross sectional approach. The population and sample were nurses in the emergency room of Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada Hospital with 17 respondents, the sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate using person chi square. Most of the highest level of nursing education is Diploma in Nursing as many as 9 respondents (52.9%). The most working period was less than 5 years as many as 12 respondents (70.6%). Most therapeutic communication skills with good category as many as 6 respondents (35.3%). There is a relationship between years of service and skills of nurses in conducting therapeutic communication in the Emergency Room (IGD) Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada Hospital in 2022 with a p-value = (0.018 < 0.05). And there is a relationship between the level of education and the skills of nurses in conducting therapeutic communication in the emergency room (IGD) Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada Hospital in 2022 with a p-value = (0.010 < 0.05). Keywords: Education Level, Working Period, Therapeutic Communication ABSTRAK Data pendidikan perawat yang didapat dari hasil prasurvey pada tanggal 06 November 2021, didapat tenaga kesehatan yang bertugas di ruang Instansi Gawat Darurat (IGD) sebanyak 21 responden, dengan pembagian 4 bidan, dan 17 perawat yang dibagi menjadi 15 perawat pendidikan D3 perawat, 1 perawat pendidikan Ners, dan 1 perawat pendidikan S.Kep. Rumah Sakit Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada, terdapat 6 pasien dan 3 diantaranya mengatakan pelayanan komunikasi yang dilakukan perawat saat berinteraksi tidak komunikatif saat melakukan tindakan keperawatan, kurang ramah dan kurang perhatian antara perawat dan pasien. Diketahui hubungan tingkat pendidikam dan masa kerja dengan keterampilan perawat dalam melakukan komunikasi terapeutik di Ruang Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada. Jenis penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif, rancangan penelitian survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel adalah perawat di Ruang IGD Rumah Sakit Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada sebanyak 17 respondne, teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisa data menggunakan univariat dan bivariat menggunakan person chi square. Sebagian besar tingkat pendidikan perawat terbanyak adalah Diploma Keperawatan sebanyak 9 responden (52,9%). Masa kerja terbanyak kurang dari 5 tahun sebanyak 12 responden (70,6%). Keterampilan komunikasi terapeutik baik sebanyak 6 responden (35,3%). Terdapat hubungan masa kerja dengan keterampilan perawat dalam melakukan komunikasi terapeutik di Ruang Instalasi Gawat Darurat(IGD) Rumah Sakit Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada Tahun 2022 dengan nilai p-value = (0,018 < 0,05). Dan terdapat hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan keterampilan perawat dalam melakukan komunikasi terapeutik di ruang instalasi gawat darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit Pertamina Bintang Amin Husada Tahun 2022 dengan nilai p-value = (0,010 < 0,05).
