Sumber sampah di Indonesia mayoritas berasal dari sampah sisa makanan. Kelompok Peduli Lingkungan Goro Sampah mampu mengelola sampah sisa makanan menjadi pupuk kompos. Namun cara ini membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Perlu adanya penanaman pengetahuan baru untuk Kelompok Peduli Lingkungan Goro Sampah untuk memaksimalkan pengolahan sampah organik di lingkup Rt 35 Sentono, dengan memberikan pengetahuan tentang budidaya maggot. Pelatihan budidaya maggot dilaksanakan dengan mengajak pengurus Kelompok Peduli Lingkungan Goro Sampah bersama mahasiswa ke tempat budidaya maggot. Disana akan dijelaskan oleh peternak maggot mengenai seluk beluk budidaya maggot mulai dari pembibitan hingga panen. Mahasiswa berperan sebagai pengonsep dan teknis acara. Harapannya setelah kegiatan pengabdian ini Kelompok Peduli Lingkungan Goro Sampah mampu mengolah sampah organik menjadi pakan maggot BSF, (Black Soldier Fly) kemudian bisa dimanfaatkan untuk pakan ikan atau ternak, maupun dijual. Kegiatan Pagadian ini memiliki target luaran berupa artikel ilmiah, laporan kemajuan dan laporan akhir.
Rice issues are strategically important given that food sovereignty is one of the government’s strategic plans. The supply chain of rice is a complex system involving many interacting stakeholders. This study aims to analyse the rice supply chain in flood-prone areas, the level of rice business vulnerability to flooding, and the institutional competitiveness in the rice supply chain to improve food security. This study applied a mixed-method approach. The population of this research was business operators in the rice supply chain in the flood-prone areas of Klaten Regency, Indonesia. This study utilized primary data, which were collected using the method of direct interviews with business actors, supported by a list of questions and focus group discussions. The analytical tools used in this study were supply chain analysis, business vulnerability index, and stakeholder analysis. The results show that the rice supply chain consisted of farmers and rice fellers, collectors, rice mills, wholesalers, retailers and, finally, consumers. The vulnerability of companies in the rice supply chain was in the category of moderate. Stakeholders in the rice supply chain had diverse objectives, where the two most substantial goals were building reputation and earning income. Rice mill, Department of Agriculture, Food Security and Fisheries, and community are the main stakeholders in realizing food security because they have high interests and influence. The implication is that these three stakeholders must be the main actors in the development of regional food security.
Kelompok peduli lingkungan (Goro Sampah) di desa Ngawonggo, Ceper, Klaten ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah. Biasanya yang menjadi kendala lain dari bank sampah, yaitu kapasitas masyarakat dan swasta sebagai mitra belum dibangun dan dikembangkan. Rendahnya perhatian masyarakat untuk sosialisasi, pembinaan, pendidikan masih rendah sering menjadi keluh kesah masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dalam mendukung keberhasilan bank sampah. Iklim dan birokrasi kemitraan pun juga belum kondusif dan menarik bagi swasta untuk berinvestasi. Permasalahan prioritas yang dihadapi oleh Goro Sampah antara lain: kelembagaan belum disusun dengan baik serta fasilitas dan area bank sampah belum tertata dengan baik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada kelompok peduli lingkungan “Goro Sampah” Desa Ngawonggo, Kecamatan Ceper, Kabupaten Klaten, dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu melakukan sosialisasi kepada kelompok masyarakat peduli lingkungan, melakukan pendampingan penyusunan struktur organisasi “Goro Sampah”, melakukan penataan area bank sampah dengan mengusung konsep taman edukasi bijak kelola sampah. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu terbentuknya struktur organisasi “Goro Sampah” dan telah tertatanya taman edukasi “Goro Sampah”. Keberlanjutan dari program ini masih diperlukan untuk dapat menciptakan budaya bijak kelola sampah yang menyeluruh.
Research on the intention to buy healthy food products is interesting to study because many studies show mixed results. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health awareness factors, attitude factors, environmental awareness, lifestyle, and knowledge on purchase intentions of healthy food products with case observation settings in Solo City involving 100 respondents. The results of the analysis show that the four variables of health awareness, attitude, environmental awareness, and lifestyle have a significant effect on buying interest, while the knowledge factor has no effect. Limitations and research suggestions become a reference for further research. However, the knowledge factor that does not affect purchase intention from this research still needs to be examined through the educational process so that it has a long-term effect.
