In vorstehender Mitteilung wurde uber die Isolierung von 10 Cardenolid-Glykosiden aus der Wurzelrinde von Streblws as$er (Moraceae) berichtet, von denen 6 in Kristallen erhalten wurden. Wir beschreiben hier die Konstitutionsermittlung von dreien dieser Stoffe (a = Kamalosid, A = Asperosid und B = Streblosid) sowie Vorversuche, die einen gewissen Einblick in den Bau der ubrigen ermoglichen. Grundlage war die hydrolytische Spaltung.
A new pregnane glycoside designated as calocin (1) has been isolated from the dried twdgs of Periploca calophylla. Chemical and spectroscopic evidence and characterization of its hydrolysis products are consistent with the structure A5-pregnene-3/3,14£,20£-triol-(3 or 20)-d-D-canaropyranoside for calocin.
