Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi penerapan model pembelajaran Gagnon and Collay berbantuan games dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi karakteristik makhluk hidup. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dalam dua siklus. Data motovasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan quisioner dan data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis mengunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 62,5% dengan kategori termotivaasi dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 75,6% dengan kategori sangat termotivasi. Kondisi tersebut memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 13,18%. Sementara data rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 74.2% dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 80,9% dengan nilai rata-rata peningkatan yaitu 14,9% setelah dilakukan tindakan pada setiap siklusnya. Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Gagnon and Collay berbantuan games dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII pada mata pembelajaran IPA-Biologi SMP Muhammadiyah Mataram. The Application Of The Gagnon And Collay Learning Model Helps Games In Increasing Student Motivation And Learning Achievement The purpose of this study is to identify the application of the Gagnon and Collay learning model assisted by games in increasing student motivation and learning achievement on material characteristics of living beings. The subject of this study was a grade VII student of Muhammadiyah Mataram Junior High School. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Student learning data were collected with questionnaires and learning outcomes data were collected with tests. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that in cycle I the average student learning motivation was 62.5% with the category of termivation and increased in cycle II to 75.6% with the category of highly motivated. This condition showed an increase of 13.18%. Meanwhile, the average data on student learning achievement in cycle 1 was 74.2% and increased in cycle II by 80.9% with an average score of 14.9% after actions were taken in each cycle. Based on the analysis of research data, it can be concluded that the application of the Gagnon and Collay learning model assisted by games can increase the motivation and learning achievement of grade VII students in the science-biology learning course of Muhammadiyah Mataram Junior High School.
PendahuluanPendidikan merupakan hak azasi setiap manusia. Pasal 31 (1) Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Indonesia menyatakan bahwa setiap warga negara berhak mendapatkan pendidikan. Upaya pemerintah untuk membuka kesetaraan pendidikan bagi seluruh warga negara ditandai dengan ditingkatkannya anggaran dalam bidang pendidikan di APBN 2013 hingga mencapai 336,8 triliun. Salah satu alokasi anggaran dalam bidang pendidikan adalah untuk menyediakan beasiswa untuksiswa dan mahasiswa miskin bagi sekitar 9,4 juta siswa/mahasiswa (Departemen Keuangan, 2013).Hasil penelitian Utomo dan Sudji (2010) menunjukkan bahwa beasiswa Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik (PPA) belum mampu meningkatkan prestasi akademik mahasiswa penerima beasiswa. Beasiswa PPA memberikan bantuan uang tunai sebesar Rp 350.000 per bulan. Jika beasiswa PPA yang memberikan bantuan tunai tidak berpengaruh ter-hadap peningkatan prestasi penerima beasiswa, bagaimana dengan beasiswa yang memberikan pembinaan (pendidikan) kepada penerima beasiswa. Beasiswa yang akan diteliti adalah beasiswa Beastudi Etos. Pemilihan Beastudi Etos didasarkan pada alasan bahwa Beastudi Etos telah sepuluh tahun menjalankan pembinaan kepada penerima beasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis program beasiswa berdasarkan konsep pemberdayaan, dan (2) mengukur faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap prestasi mahasiswa penerima beasiswa.Ife (1995) menyatakan bahwa pemberdayaan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kekuasaan orang-orang yang lemah dan tidak beruntung. Background: Meeting changes can be very problematic for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) whereas other children may take it for granted. As a result, they may cry, get upset, scream, do hand flapping or even self-harming that shows their inability to cope with the changes and their preference of sameness and routine activities. To understand the issue of changes in children with autism, people should know the complexity of the disorders. Purpose: This article will explain further about the strategies for successful transition into mainstream schools for young children with autism as illustrated in Jack's case study in the appendices. Methods: A case study was conducted to one respondent. Firstly, the article will explain ASDs and its atypical characteristics of 6-years old Jack. Then it will discuss strategies to help Jack's transition process, as well as strategies to support his learning process during schooling which finally comes up with conclusion to support Jack and his family's transition into mainstream primary education. Results: Strategies for successful transition into mainstream schools for young children with autism include using visual information and activity schedules, managing sensory overload, and building literacy skills. Conclusion: Attractive playing can be effective strategies to build skills for successful transition of young children with autism.
The potential of sweet potatoes in Dopang Village, West Lombok Regency is quite abundant, especially the type of purple sweet potato. In addition to its good health benefits, the existence of purple sweet potato also has high economic potential. Processing of purple sweet potatoes into more valuable products in Dopang Village is still considered lacking. Based on observations, the processing of purple sweet potatoes in the surrounding community is only in the form of snacks or chips. Therefore, this activity aims to develop processed products made from purple sweet potatoes into products in the form of sweet potato milk (Violatte) in the hope of increasing the economy of the local community. This activity is carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely; (1) product manufacturing experiment, (2) product improvement, (3) product socialization to the public, and (4) product marketing. The activity is carried out for approximately 1.5 months from November 22, 2021 - January 6, 2022. The location of the activity is in Dopang Tengah Hamlet, Dopang Village, Gunungsari, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Each stage of this activity, starting from product manufacturing trials, product improvement stages, socialization stages and product marketing stages has been carried out and is running well.
