Physical education programs may benefit adolescents with different physical activity participation preferences regardless of important individual characteristics and broader school factors.
Os objetivos do estudo foram comparar um índice válido de atividade física segundo o sexo e a idade, comprovar se o nível intenso de participação responde às recomendações referentes a saúde nos jovens e identifi car grupos de jovens em risco de sedentarismo. Materiais e Métodos: A coleta dos dados se efetuou por meio de um questionário denominado "Hábitos físico-esportivos e estilos de vida", nas províncias de Almería, Granada e Murcia. As amostras representativas foram formadas por 3.249 alunos de ESO e 2.921 de ESPO. Resultados: As diferenças de participação intensa são signifi cativamente a favor dos homens. O índice de atividade física diminuiu particularmente nas mulheres. Discussão: As mulheres adolescentes aparecem como um grupo muito sedentário e em forte risco de sedentarismo no futuro.
The elaboration of typologies is a previous step to improve the analysis of occupation of leisure-time and the establishment of collective measures that they affect in the development of healthy lifestyle among the young people. The sample of this study been has constituted by 1829 adolescents of three provinces. We use the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) questionnaire and the cluster analysis. These instruments have shown the existence of two different groups in regard to the leisure-time. These groups are related with sociodemographic variables like educational level and place of residence. Group of adolescents which accomplish physical activities organized did not show differences with the other groups of young people in relation to the consumption of television, time of study and use of computer. On the contrary, accomplish more physical activity in a workday than the other adolescents.
RESUMEN:El presente trabajo aborda las características de la demanda de actividades físicas y deportivas de tiempo libre del alumnado universitario almeriense, para lo cual se ha seleccionado una muestra de 1.843 sujetos, a los que se les administró un cuestionario para evaluar las actividades en modalidad, periodo temporal, tipo de oferta y finalidad de las mismas. Durante la semana destacan las actividades físicas para el mantenimiento y la mejora de la salud, mientras que en fines de semana son los deportes individuales y colectivos los más practicados, sin perseguir un carácter competitivo. Las actividades en el medio natural están adquiriendo cada vez un papel más relevante durante los periodos vacacionales. Finalmente, la mayoría del alumnado prefiere realizar la práctica físico-deportiva por cuenta propia, de forma libre y autoorganizada.Palabras clave: actividad físico-deportiva, tiempo libre, demanda, universitarios.ABSTRACT: This paper is about the characteristics of physical-sport activities in leisure time of Almeria University students, for which it was chosen a sample of 1.843 students, who ware given a questionnaire to assess disciplines, period of time, kind of supply and goal activities. Along the week physical activities to maintain and improve their health, whereas in weekends, team and individual sports are more practiced, without a competitive character. Physical activities in nature environment are currently more important in holiday seasons. Finally, most of undergraduate prefer to do physical-sport activity by themselves, without timetable and organised by their own.
El presente estudio tiene por objetivo analizar las motivaciones que llevan a los jóvenes entre 16 y 20 años a recorrer este itinerario, así como sus vivencias en relación con distintos aspectos de su experiencia por la ruta jacobea. La investigación se ha desarrollado mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario autoadministrado en Roncesvalles (Navarra) y otro en Compostela (Galicia), utilizando el procedimiento de muestreo estratificado polietápico con fijación proporcional, con un margen de error muestral del ±3% y un nivel de confianza del 95,5%. Cabe destacar entre las conclusiones, que el Camino de Santiago constituye un marco de interculturalidad y convivencia para los jóvenes, que acuden a la ruta buscando aventuras y experiencias personales y para los que el recorrido ha supuesto una gran diversión, disfrutando de la práctica de actividad físico-deportiva en la naturaleza.
