The devastating effects of climate change are undeniable and have grown more alarming over the past ten years. Most recently, eight weeks of heavy rain and flash flooding in Pakistan caused a disaster that affected over 33 million people. The World Health Organization (WHO) warns about serious public health hazards confronting the affected communities, including the possibility of further spreading water- and vector-borne diseases, including malaria and dengue fever. Pakistan's districts are still negatively impacted by heavy monsoon rains and unprecedented levels of flooding. This chapter aims to highlight the policies that local governments should adopt to deal with health issues raised by the flood. Furthermore, this chapter also recommends policies related to logistics and transportation which overcome health issues.
Urbanization is a complex and multifaceted process that positively and negatively impacts society and the environment. To promote sustainable and inclusive urban development, it is essential to adopt a holistic and interdisciplinary approach that takes into account social, economic, and environmental factors, as well as the needs and perspectives of local communities and stakeholders. By adopting sustainable real estate practices, Pakistan can create a more sustainable and prosperous future for all its citizens. Likewise, real estate firms that aim to promote environmental, social, and economic sustainability in their operations should consider adopting a sustainable marketing approach. Real estate organizations may contribute to a more sustainable future while also benefiting their business by integrating sustainable practices into all facets of their operations and promoting sustainability to their clients and stakeholders. Sustainable marketing gives real estate companies a competitive edge and long-term profitability in addition to helping to safeguard the environment and society.
The all-inclusive approach to sustainable storage of renewable energy necessitates the participation of the entire world, as renewable energy sources are not limited to one state or country. The responsibility of engaging people is achieved innovatively with social media. Social media plays a prominent role in promoting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and incorporating sustainability and responsibility among the people for our planet. The novelty of this chapter is to address the role of social media in engaging the local community to understand the opinion of organizations and stakeholders for the better use of renewable energy resources in the tourism sector. This chapter seeks to discuss the question: How is social media a communicator of sustainable renewable energy for future usage? This chapter also highlights the role of social media in portraying social campaigns with themes, slogans, and a manifesto with clear, crisp, and concise messages for the potential use of renewable energy in tourism.

The present study reveals that the city produces mostly food waste, collected by the scavengers employed through city corporations but poorly managed due to a lack of categorization and recycling technologies. According to the perception and responses of the households, waste odor and disease infections are the most common impacts of household waste mismanagement in Rajshahi city in Bangladesh. The conclusion reveals that lack of proper knowledge and use of technology with regards to waste management and its recycling is one of the significant reasons for bad impacts through unplanned open dumping and burning system practiced by the city authority. It is recommended to reorganize the waste management system in the City by installing proper dustbins.
