The occurrence of coastal erosion in the coastal area of Karawang Regency has recently been thought to be a disaster, considering the condition is at an alarming status and is a lengthy problem. Hence, an integrated coastal rehabilitation effort is needed to address the impact of coastal erosion in the area effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated management strategy for coastal rehabilitation for coastal erosion control in the coastal area of Karawang Regency by stressing solutions on socio-economic and institutional aspects. This study is a case study conducted through a survey method in the three coastal areas of Karawang Regency that were the most severely affected, namely Cibuaya Beach, Cilebar Beach, and Cilamaya Kulon Beach. Data were collected through observation techniques and in-depth interviews, strengthened by secondary data. Data analysis employed descriptively and decision-making methods of the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The study’s results recommend strategic priorities in managing coastal rehabilitation. Firstly, the coastal border area conservation strategy sets frontiers and rules for managing coastal borders following applicable laws and regulations. Secondly, the social reconciliation and law enforcement strategy facilitate and mediate conflict resolution through deliberation. Thirdly, the strengthening group capacity strategy promotes collaboration between groups of mangrove farmers and related groups to communicate knowledge and experiences. Fourthly, the community education strategy conducts socialization and public awareness of preserving the mangrove ecosystem.

Erosi pantai yang parah di sebagian wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Karawang, salah satunya di Desa Cemarajaya Kecamatan Cibuaya, telah berdampak pada kegiatan sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Upaya untuk melakukan penanggulangan erosi pantai antara lain dapat dilakukan melalui rehabilitasi pantai dengan penanaman mangrove. Akan tetapi, pengetahuan, pemahaman dan persepsi masyarakat desa tersebut dalam pelestarian ekosistem mangrove masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, perlu diterapkan kegiatan sosialisasi pentingnya kelestarian ekosistem mangrove, khususnya di areal sempadan pantai untuk penanggulangan erosi pantai. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi observasional. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi bagi pemerintah desa, lembaga pendidikan (sekolah) dan masyarakat setempat.

This review discusses the potential of South Aceh Regency generated by the economic sectors above. In addition, this study will discuss the current condition of Tapaktuan Port as well as the direction of development policy of South Aceh Regency to improve the utilization of Tapaktuan Port. The method of analysis in this research uses descriptive method, based on a series of data collection methods through literature study, observation and interview. Increased utilization of Tapaktuan Port still faces a number of challenges, including the non-functioning of Tapaktuan as a center of growth and economic accumulation of South Aceh Regency. Therefore. the need for the South Aceh Regency Government to consistently implement policies concerning the utilization of Tapaktuan Port, as well as create strong synergy between the government of South Aceh district with the central government in order to develop trade (ships follow the trade) and grow the less developed areas (ships promote the trade). ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi berbagai permasalahan yang diduga akan dihadapi dalam pembentukan dan pengoperasian Badan Penyelesaian Sengketa Konsumen (BPSK) Kabupaten Bekasi. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun rekomendasi dalam pembentukan BPSK di Kabupaten Bekasi. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, permasalahan yang diduga akan dihadapi, yaitu menyangkut aspek anggaran, aspek kepersonaliaan, dan aspek hubungan dengan institusi hukum yang lain. Untuk itu, rekomendasi yang disampaikan antara lain mengenai anggaran yang perlu disiapkan, serta struktur dan komposisi anggota BPSK. Kata kunci: Perlindungan Konsumen, BPSK, Kabupaten Bekasi
