This study aims to identify the factors that influence decision making on souvenirs by using the Theory of Planned Behavior. The approach used in the research method is quantitative approach, and the sample determination used convenience sampling type employing 150 souvenir buyers as research samples in Palangka Raya, Indonesia. The relationship between the variables proposed in the study is tested empirically using Partial Least Square (PLS). This research reflects the consumer's picture of the attitude, intentions, and buying behavior of souvenirs. The results showed that the attitude toward authenticity and attitude toward aesthetics, except attitude toward care and carriage, had a significant effect on the purchasing intention which then will be realized in a real buying behavior. The stronger the intention of someone to buy souvenirs, the greater the souvenir buying behavior will be shown. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for marketers and the tourism industry in formulating and implementing strategies to encourage consumers to purchase souvenirs.
This study aims to examine the differences between several empirical articles on the theory of planned behavior. Theory of planned behavior provides a framework for studying attitudes toward behaviors that postulate three determinants of conceptual intent. Specifically, the intention is based on the variables of attitude toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Although this theory has been used frequently, there are still differences in outcomes in explaining attitudes toward behavior. The results show that there is still a different view of the theory of planned behavior so it is necessary to identify the gaps that occur in this theory. For further research is expected to expand and enrich the discussion of the theory of planned behavior. Keywords: consumer purchase behavior; theory of planned behavior AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menelaah perbedaan beberapa artikel empiris tentang theory of planned behavior. Kata Kunci : perilaku pembelian konsumen; theory of planned behavior Permalink/DOI : http://dx

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of culture, perceptions, and trust on purchasing decisions either partially or simultaneously (jointly). The research method used in this research is a descriptive-quantitative approach. The population in this study includes all consumers or customers who have purchased traditional medicinal products located on Jl.Tjilik Riwut KM.1, Kahayan Palangka Raya market, whose numbers are not yet known. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability sampling technique with a type of accidental sampling of 80 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed and processed with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24.0. The results showed that there was a significant and positive influence of culture, perceptions, and trust either partially or simultaneously on purchasing decisions for traditional medicines in the UKM Kahayan market, Palangka Raya. The suggestion given by the author in this study is that shop owners are expected to continue working in processing traditional medicine in order to increase the trust that traditional medicine is proven to heal. The government should carry out scientific testing to find out what content is in the drug, so that the BPOM and MUI labels are immediately given so that it is known to the wider community that these traditional medicines are suitable for consumption. For further researchers, they should use or add other variables such as social factors, psychological factors, and others so that they can more influence the results of purchasing decisions
