The spread of higher education institutions, the differentiation of students' demands and expectations, the increasing importance of education on the internet, and the increasingly diversified education and training techniques grew the integration of technology with teaching and have led to the creation of various innovative education methods. E-learning, which has become a necessity, has become a part of today's academic world, especially in the face of current conditions. It has a critical role in issues such as measuring the service quality of educational institutions, regarding competition and determining the evaluations of the individuals using the service about the system, gaining competitive advantage, and creating satisfaction. This study aims to demonstrate the validity and reliability of the "E-Learning Service Quality Scale" developed by Pham et al. (2019a) by adapting it to Turkish. It is expected that the findings of this study will contribute to the literature regarding providing an up-to-date scale to measure the e-learning service quality of higher education institutions.
The study examines the mediation role of fear of COVID-19 on the relationships between the ambiguity of death and intolerance of uncertainty related to the holiday. Data was obtained from a total of 538 participants in the quantitative research and a total of 19 participants in the qualitative research in Türkiye. Quantitative results showed that the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty related to holiday and ambiguity of death was partially mediated by fear of COVID-19. Qualitative results differ in some points. This study sheds light on the perception of travel risk and its causes and offers a new perspective.
This research aimed to investigate marital satisfaction with respect to proactive personality, meaning in life, and offense-specific forgiveness in marriage. Research data were collected from 350 married using the, Marital Offence-Specific Forgiveness Scale (MOFS), Satisfaction with Married Life Scale, Proactive Personality Scale, and Meaning in Life Questionnaire. The data were analyzed with regressionand Pearson correlation coefficient to test the hypotheses of this research. The results showed that there is a positive correlation between marital satisfaction and meaning in life and proactive personality. It is also concluded that there is a negative correlation between marital satisfaction and resentment-avoidance, one of the sub-dimensions of offense-specific forgiveness in marriage. According to the regression analysis in the study, proactive personality, meaning in life, and resentment-avoidance variables, which are sub-dimensions of offense-specific forgiveness in marriage, were found to predict marital satisfaction significantly.
This study aims to reveal the mediating effect of impulsive buying behaviour in the relationship between fear of COVID-19 and compulsive buying behaviour. In this direction, the data collected from 721 participants by online survey method were analysed using various statistical methods. According to the findings, the fear of COVID-19 experienced by individuals affects compulsive and impulsive buying behaviours. In addition, the mediator effect of impulsive buying behaviour was found in the impact of fear of COVID-19 on compulsive buying behaviour. It is expected that the research results will contribute to the literature in terms of revealing the effect of negative emotional states on consumer purchasing behaviour.
