In an immense market struggle, the only effective way to build a long-term competitive advantage is to provide a high level of quality. Offering quality to the market, the organization creates loyal consumers on the basis of which it achieves its profitability, growth and development. The research presented in this paper is aimed at determination of the impact of quality on improving business performance and customer satisfaction. Correlation analysis confirmed this influence on the basis of obtained statistically significant mutual relations between the analyzed variables. Quality was shown to have an impact on improving the business performance of the organization, primarily on profitability through the improvement of leadership and relationship management. The impact of quality on customer satisfaction was also confirmed, where the engagement of people and the management of mutual relations had the greatest impact on consumer confidence. The research confirmed that the training of employees in terms of quality had a statistically significant impact on improving customer satisfaction, if it is conducted in an efficient manner.
The SME sector plays an important role in a country's economic growth and development. In order for these companies to develop successfully, the support of the state is necessary, but certainly their own efforts invested in improving knowledge and innovative solutions. The presented research aimed at determining the impact of quality improvement on the innovative performance of small and medium enterprises. The research included a sample of 295 small and medium enterprises that have implemented the ISO 9000 standard in their operations. Correlation analysis determined that there are statistically significant relationships between the variables of quality improvement and the variables of innovative action. The regression model showed that the greatest individual contribution to the achievement of innovative action was made by the variables management of mutual relations, decision-making based on facts and continuous improvement. Improving quality and developing innovation should enable the SME sector to build its competitive advantage in the market.
In this paper the analysis and description of the operation of the Premix station for dosing the substrate into existing digesters whose location is in the system of the device for processing of liquid waste are described. Apart from the capacity and other entry parameters, the necessary diameter of the pipeline with the length of the section for supplying the devices of the PreMix system is calculated, as it is given in the appropriate tables, the connection of the existing equipment and digesters is presented. The appropriate dependence of the volume flow, the velocity of circulation and power at constant pressure as well as the dependence of the volume flow, pressure and power at constant velocity of circulation are presented by diagrams.
The subject of research in this paper is the concept of organizational learning and the impact it has on improving the quality of business of small and medium enterprises. The aim of the research is to determine how organizational learning should be improved in order for it to give the best possible results in company business operations. The results of the research showed that the efficiency of organizational learning is built on a motivated workforce and team cooperation. Variables of organizational learning have shown the greatest impact on innovative activities and continuous improvements as factors in improving the quality of business. The paper presents a decision-making model with an artificial neural network approach for continuous improvement of the quality of business of small and medium enterprises through the application of the concept of organizational learning. The presented research results can be used as guidelines to owners and managers of small and medium enterprises, indicating the right direction if the aim is to improve the quality of business on the basis of organizational culture that supports the creation and exchange of knowledge.
