Background: The spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia in June 2020 does not yet show signs of a decrease. Therefore, Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture takes preventive transmission in the educational environment by making the decision letter with four ministers agreeing that learning in higher education of the academic year 2020/2021 in all zones shall be held online. Online learning is a learning system that does not need face to face directly but uses a platform that can help the process of distance learning. The burden of learning materials and academic demands of medical students can cause students anxiety, especially in the pandemic COVID-19. Purposes: to determine an overview of the medical students' psychological in distance learning during the pandemic COVID-19. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study using descriptive quantitative analysis. The data used primary data through Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) questionnaire. Results: The results of the study showed that the highest percentage is at mild anxiety about 47.3%, mild stress level with 7.8%, and mild depression that 13.2%. Factors that can lead to psychological disorders in medical students, the demands of learning, and a sense of worry excessive about the process and the results. Conclusions: Factors that lead to anxiety, stress, and depression in medical students when implementing distance learning can be different for each individual.
Background: Shisha is one method of consuming tobacco similar to cigarette but in a different form. Lately it became a trend in Indonesian people, especially teenagers, without knowing any hazards contained in shisha which could cause cancer or even death. Lack of study about shisha in Indonesia was the main reason to do this study so further impact of shisha could be understood. Methodology: This study was analytical observational with cross sectional design. Data of this study was obtained from examination using CO analyzer and from questionnaire filling by respondents from the shisha Bogor community and smokers in Bogor. Results: Among 60 samples we obtained mean expiratory air CO levels of 8,62 ppm for smokers and 20,67 ppm for shisha users. There were also a significant correlation between shisha consumption duration per times and CO expiratory air levels, with P-value of 0,004 and odds ratio 12,52. Conclusion: Expiratory air CO levels in shisha users were higher than smokers, also there were a significant correlation between shisha consumption duration per times and the increasing levels of expiratory air CO. Mahasiswa kedokteran semester akhir (semester VII) harus mempunyai self efficacy (SE). SE dibutuhkan mahasiswa kedokteran untuk masuk ke jenjang berikutnya ketika masuk dalam pembelajaran di rumah sakit. SE membuat mahasiswa nyaman ketika berhubungan dengan pasien begitupula sebaliknya, pasien merasa nyaman mahasiswa yang memiliki SE yang baik.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengukur kepercayaan diri atau “self efficacy (SE)” mahasiswa semester VII Oktober tahun 2022 FKK UMJ. Hasilnya adalah nilai validitas terkecil dari seluruh item terdapat pada item B3 = 0,392 > r tabel 0,301. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa seluruh item valid. Nilai reliabilitas terkecil dari seluruh item terdapat pada item A18 = 0,962 > r tabel 0,301. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa seluruh item reliabel. Hal ini menandakan bahwa instrumen SE yang telah dialihbahasakan ini dapat digunakan untuk mengukur refleksi kepercayaan diri mahasiswa kedokteran semester akhir
