One of many ecotourism potentials that exist in Indonesia is natural object that can be utilized by the community for watering purposes as well as for the tourist attraction, namely waterfalls. One of developing natural tourist attraction is Nggembor Waterfall. This waterfall is located in Dusun Banyunganti, Jatimulyo Village, Girimulyo District, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Province of Yogyakarta. This research used qualitative method with SWOT analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that Nggembor Waterfall is worthy as a tourist destination, which is expected to improve the economy of the community. Yogyakarta is known as the City of Students and the City of Tourism. This is due to the fact that there are many universities and also the best schools in Indonesia. Musuem is an institution or institution which is a place for storing, caring for, researching and utilizing material objects which are evidence of the results of human, natural and environmental culture with the aim of preserving culture and also for a form of protection. One of the museums which is a tourist destination that is very often visited by tourists who come to Yogyakarta is the Sonobudoyo Museum. This study aims to find out what efforts the manager made in developing the Sonobudoyo unit I museum as an educational tour in the new normal era, to know the efforts made by the government to increase visits to the Sonobudoyo museum in the new normal era, and to know the assessments and expectations of visitors regarding Sonobudoyo Museum Unit I as an object of educational tourism attraction in Yogyakarta in the new normal era. The research method used is qualitative. With 2 (two) types of data, namely primary data and secondary data which the authors get from the results of observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis used is a SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Sonobudoyo Museum can positively be used as an educational tour in the new normal era with regulatory changes and technological additions that make the Sonobudoyo Museum ready and alert in accepting tourist visits in the new normal era. Museums can be used as educational tours that can increase visitor interest in learning activities. Moreover, if the majority of visitors are students from elementary, middle school, college students can get useful knowledge when they come to the museum. The purpose of this study is to understand the factors of Y Generation Instagram users in choosing tourism destinations, so that they can be a reference for community groups to develop innovative products based on potential resources and human resource competencies to design sustainable and competitive authentic products. This research uses quantitative method. Purposive sampling is a technique for determining research samples with certain considerations aimed at making the data obtained more representative. The number of samples used as many as 385 people belonging to Y Generation, who have visited a tourism destination in the Special Region of Yogyakarta more than once and as users of social media Instagram. To test the hypothesis empirically using the AMOS 2.2 application. A decision-making model regarding tourism destination loyalty by exploring the influence of experience, satisfaction, trust and loyalty to tourism destinations. In addition, it also includes a moderating variable for the use of Instagram social media which is expected to strengthen the influence on tourist destination loyalty and take the object of Y Generation. Researchers found that the use of Instagram social media strengthens the experience, satisfaction, and trust of Y Generation towards loyalty to tourism destinations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
Although traditional travel agents have played an important role as proxies enabling travelers to make connections with hotels, the emergence of the internet has changed the traditional relationship between hotels and travel agents. Instead of a traditional agent–principal relationship, online travel agents (OTAs) seem to act as more than just intermediaries and more as business partners or vendors. Scholars have previously observed troubled, if not hostile, relationships between hotels and OTAs. There has been a growing tendency for hotel and accommodation business worldwide to use Online Travel Agents (OTAs) to promote and sell their rooms. This research discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the promotion and sales through OTAs for hotel business in Kaliurang a famous tourism destination object in Yogyakarta. The object of the research is the hotel manager, supervisors and staff who handle the hotel promotion and sales of their accommodation business. Hotel were located in Kaliurang chosen based on cluster proportional and the informants were chosen based on purposive sampling technique. The result shows that the disadvantages in using OTAs as promotion and sales tool are rising occupancy, direct payment, and as a tool in making hotel well known worldwide. The disadvantages are decrease net sales, over booking, negative comments could downgrade the hotels rank, and OTAs make hotels website got limited traffic. The motivation of hotel managements in using OTAs is highly motivated. The dominant factor of the perception included factors in self-perception of the target, factor in the self-perception., and factors perception of situation. This research suggests to the villa management to recruit special personnel for handling OTAs as well as to manage own websites to increase the net sales. Jati Larangan and Sengon Park are an example of community innovation in Iroyudan, Guwosari Village, Pajangan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, in a joint effort to create a more prosperous society, through the development of tourism activities. This study uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach, namely research that aims to make a systematic, factual and accurate description of a social or natural phenomenon, by collecting data, then analyzing it with elaborative explanations. The characteristics of tourists in Jati Larangan and Sengon Park are relatively supportive of efforts to restore economic in the tourism activity during the current pandemic, where people's activities and mobility are limited to certain areas around them. The location of Jati Larangan and Sengon Park, which are in a large open area, has resulted in no clash between site conditions and regulations in the government's effort to reduce the rate of transmission of the covid-19 pandemic.
