Cloud computing is a state of the art technology that provides services to individuals and organizations on demand via the Internet. Implementation of cloud services in an organization will lead to improved performance and reduced cost related to computing services. A number of previous studies suggest that there is a need to further investigate the role of gender on the adoption of cloud computing, especially in developing countries. The aim of this paper is to investigate the role of gender in the adoption of cloud computing services by university students in KSA. To meet the research objective an SEM study was conducted using responses from 451 Saudi higher education students to determine the role of gender on could computing acceptance in KSA context. The findings of this research show that there is a settle difference between female and male students where trust was found to be a significant determinant of behavioural intention for female students but not for their male counterparts. On the other hand, image was found to be a significant determinant of PU for male students but not for female students.
Abstract-Recent researches in the Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) attempt to raise solutions for general applications within the field, these solutions often are hindered by the fact that different RFID deployments do not meet in their specifications and need. In order for these solutions to be valid and more useful; it has to be classified based on certain design requirements, and exploitation area. Our research contributes to those solutions in a novel model for a threetiered categorization of the RFID systems in an attempt to undertake security and privacy risks into a better understanding within a specific domain for a more optimized addressing of the problems encountered.
This article is used to examine the impact of HRMP to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) in organizations. The hypotheses that HRMPs influences SCA imply that control of distinctive processes of human resources management (HRM) in industrial companies implies distinct factors of SCA. As a result, new questionnaires were developed and disseminated to 50 companies (200 top and middle managers) in Jordan in a survey format. The collected data was subjected to several simple regression tests using an SPSS program. The research findings presented that different processes of HRM, depending on acquisition, recruitment, training, evaluation performance, and promotion. There has been a strong interest in competing to achieve the highest SCA. The implications of the findings were discussed and suggestions were made.
