This study aims to examine the relationship between transformational leadership, organizational culture, quality assurance, and organizational performance. It also examined the mediating effect of quality assurance in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational performance, and between organizational culture and organizational performance. The instruments in the form of Google forms were distributed to employees who work in quality assurance units in several public and private Islamic higher education institutions for 6 months, June-December 2019. 128 Data were processed and analyzed out of 135 data collected. The five-point Likert scale was used to assess the variables and to measure the items. Furthermore, Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to test the proposed hypotheses. This study found that the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational performance both directly and indirectly through quality assurance was not significant. Transformational leadership also did not affect quality assurance. On the other hand, organizational culture was proven to be able to influence high organizational performance and quality assurance. Besides, quality assurance could not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational performance, but it can positively and significantly mediate in the relationship between organizational culture and organizational performance. The results provided by this study provide the understanding and linking among transformational leadership, organizational culture, quality assurance, and organizational performance among Islamic higher education institutions (IHEIs). While the extent of leadership research has conducted in manufactures organizations, this study shifted the focus of attention to the religious-based institutions (IHEIs).

A school principal requires a model of leadership in creating a level of trust and quality of academic services that exceed the expectations of internal and external school school. School leadership puts the organization a competitive advantage as a core value as the value inherent in a school community. The competitive advantage of the organization is how the organization creates value service performance advantages of low cost and product differentiation. Two such approaches are needed schools that want to deliver maximum quality academic services and demonstrate excellence by means of efficiency. The goal is to assess school leadership based on core values, characteristics of quality implementation in schools and the implementation of the concept of quality assurance systems. Three objectives are based on research and discussion of literature that leadership with the guarantee is related to the value system that was built through the vision that inspired each school community. The vision of leadership based on values that are mutually agreed upon has spawned a school of excellence amidst the proliferation of educational institutions. Educational institutions are not seen as a social investment, but the institution has become a noble industry. Based on the explanation, the leadership of principals need to have different perspectives on quality assurance paradigm is very different between the service field service with the service areas of goods. Berdasarkan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang begitu cepat, institusi pendidikan harus melakukan improvisasi model pembelajaran. Kebanyakan dosen masih menggunakan proses manual dalam memberikan pelayanan pembelajaran, sehingga materi perkuliahan masih dipahami kurang akurat dan lambat. Melalui metode kualitatif, penelitian ini akan bekerja menemukan fakta bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran melalui Blended Learing di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Hasil temuan menunjukkan, Model Blended Learning dilaksanakan dengan pengembangan Website Based Learning dan Aplikasi Edmodo, yang kemudian berhasil meningkatkan kualitas belajar mahasiswa.
This research aims to analyze data related to the implementation of giving sticker rewards in shaping students' disciplinary character. The research approach uses a qualitative type of case study. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of data condensation, data presentation, then the stages of conclusion. The results of this study are 1) giving rewards in shaping the character of student discipline through the distribution of stickers which are very important in motivating students to take positive actions; 2) The steps for giving reward stickers start with preparing learning materials, conveying material to students, observing students' attitudes, the lastly giving reward stickers to students who have done good performance; 3) Factors supporting the success of this program are good motivation from teachers, self-awareness in students, libraries, places of worship, and proportionate classes. While the inhibiting factors are the playing environment and colleagues. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis data terkait pelaksanaan pemberian reward sticker dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kualitatif, jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kondensasi data, penyajian data, kemudian tahapan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) pemberian reward dalam membentuk karakter kedisiplinan siswa melalui pendistribusian stiker sangat penting dalam memotivasi siswa untuk melakukan tindakan positif; 2) Langkah-langkah pemberian reward-sticker diawali dengan menyiapkan materi pembelajaran, menyampaikan materi kepada siswa, mengamati sikap siswa, terakhir memberikan reward-stiker kepada siswa yang berprestasi baik; 3) Faktor pendukung keberhasilan program ini adalah motivasi yang baik dari guru, kesadaran diri pada siswa, perpustakaan, tempat ibadah, dan kelas yang proporsional. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah lingkungan bermain dan teman sejawat.
