This study aims to apply the Discovery Learning learning model to increase student learning activity in the thematic learning of class V SD Negeri 1 Selo. This research method used classroom action research which is carried out in 3 cycles. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Selo, totaling 14 students. The instrument used observation and tests. While the data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that student learning activity has increased. Learning activity in cycle 1, meeting 1, was 59.77%, followed by meeting 2, which was 60%. Based on the results of cycle 1, it has shown an increase. The increase that occurred in cycle 1 also occurred in cycle 2. In cycle 2, meeting 1, the percentage of active learning was 68.09%. Furthermore, at the second meeting, it was 69.53%. Based on the results of cycle 2, it has also shown an increase. Then it increased in cycle 3 of meeting 1 to 75.48%, and meeting 2 of 79.53%.
dosen merupakan salah satu tenaga pendidik, dimana tugas utama seorang dosen harus dapat memenuhi Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi sesuai dengan peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia nomor 37 tahun 2009 yaitu melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan beban kerja mengajar paling sedikit sepadan dengan 12 SKS SWMP (Setara Wajib Mengajar Penuh) dan paling banyak 16 SKS SWMP, selain mengajar dosen juga harus melaksanakan penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada setiap semester. Pelaksanaan tugas utama dosen ini dilaporkan setiap semester dan dimonitoring untuk dievaluasi oleh pimpinan. Selama ini laporan beban kerja dosen diisikan secara offline yang menyebabkan tertundanya pengumpulan data karena alur pengumpulan data yang panjang dan berjenjang. Disamping itu terjadinya kesulitan dalam proses monitoring beban kerja setiap dosen untuk dievaluasi oleh pimpinan. Dengan melihat dari banyaknya masalah yang timbul sehingga mengakibatkan pelaporan beban kerja dosen tidak dapat berjalan dengan baik maka melalui penelitian ini dilakukanlah analisis permasalahan yang timbul berkitan dengan pelaporan beban kerja dosen dari sistem lama yang bersifat manual dibandingkan dengan sistem baru secara online menggunakan framework PIECES, selanjutnya berdasarkan analisis tersebut dirancang suatu sistem informasi berorientasi objek menggunakan UML. Hasil dari Perancangan sistem informasi beban kerja dosen ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan kedalam sistem untuk mempermudah penyajian laporan beban kerja dosen secara online yang mana pangkalan datanya terpusat sehingga menghindari terjadinya duplikasi data, memudahkan setiap dosen mengetahui informasi beban kerjanya selain itu juga membantu pimpinan untuk melihat laporan beban kerja setiap dosen.
In education, such as classroom teaching and learning, politeness is very important. Students communicate with the teacher during the teaching and learning process using various sayings that demonstrate politeness strategies. Considering politeness consists of methods to create appropriate politeness in communication between students and teachers. But when students use politeness strategies in giving feedback on the teacher's response, not all students can know a good speech. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the politeness strategies used by students and teachers for classroom interaction. There are four politeness strategies based on Brown and Levinson's theory. There are bald on record, off record, positive politeness, and negative politeness. Researcher use qualitative descriptive methods to describe the results. The participants of this study were students and teachers in English classes. Researcher used two research instruments, namely interviews and observations. The Data will be analyzed by reading, analyzing, interpreting, and inferring. The results showed that the most dominant student strategy is positive politeness. Thus, this study is expected to contribute to students choosing the suitability of politeness strategies when classed.
