This research intend to describe about anxiety experienced by the new students of Islamic Boarding School Al-Hadi Pekalongan. The scope of this research there are objective anxiety and neurotic anxiety. The method who used inthis research is Qualitative Descriptive and using Miles and Huberman’s data analysis techniques. This research shows that the new student of Islamic Boarding School Al-Hadi Pekalongan have free floating neurotic anxiety. In this case, student revealed that himself often experienced anxiety to something not real. The student get the expectation, however accompanied also with anxiety or can be called anxious. This anxiety is named a free floating neurotic anxiety. The role of guidance and counseling to lowered the anxiety learning of new student is trough cognitive counseling. Cognitive counseling emphasize to counselee belief so that able to change negatif thinking and maladaptif thinking to be positif thinking and adaptif thinking. Trough this positif thinking the anxiety learning student will be come down even disappear.
The spiritual quotient (SQ) has a vital role in humans because it serves as the foundation of other intelligence. This study aims to present new insight on the taxonomy of the SQ learning outcomes for students, namely from the tasawwuf perspective. Using a qualitative meta-synthesis approach to explore various sources related to the taxonomy of the SQ learning outcomes through interpretative process, the study found that, in general, the SQ helps a person develop into a complete human being through the inclusion of the sense of worship in every action and thought. The taxonomy of the SQ learning outcomes includes the dimensions of taubat, wara’, zuhud, tawakal, zikr, khalwat, ikhlas, and ridla. If implemented in Islamic education, the said taxonomy will help students know their God, prioritize their conscience to solve problems in life and the learning activity, live life more meaningfully, and be motivated to benefit themselves and others in their learning process. Taken together, these findings strengthen the view that the spiritual quotient can make other intelligence function more optimally.
This research aims to obtain an alternative paradigm in the development of creativity and innovation guidance and counseling based on the sufistic approach. To this end, a qualitative approach was applied. The content analysis technique comprising open coding, axial coding, and selective coding was applied. The open coding stage was used to identify, classify, and decompile important data. In the axial coding stage, findings from the open coding stage were linked to broader categories to obtain better picture. The selective coding stage was used as the process of selecting core categories and developing them into more systematic concepts by integrating all findings. The results showed that spirituality is a potential ability that exists in individuals. This ability is manifested in the practice of worship as a form of servitude to Allah. The worshipping experience can be utilized as a therapeutic process in guidance and counseling. Some of the practices of worship included salat, reading al-Qur’an, zakat, dzikr, salawat, and shukr.
This article explores the notion of the cognitive social theory of careers. The social theory of cognitive careers is a theory about a career that adopts the behavioral theory of bandura to take a career decision. The purpose of the social in this theory is the client's expectations of career decisions taken, while the intent of cognitive is the belief of the client. To help one's career decision making can be done by using a career's social cognitive theory, because this theory can assist clients in developing, transforming, teaching the careers that their clients demand. This theory also relates to self efficacy, ie individual beliefs about his ability to perform tasks or actions necessary to achieve certain results. This article focuses on individuals who are still in their early adolescence. The career guidance done by the author succeeds in assisting clients in making career decisions in accordance with the client's belief. The client decides to make a career as a doctor, the client is sure to be able to live his career well because the client has a lot of experience in the field of medicine.
