The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the LMS-Google Classroom-based Flipped-Problem Based Learning Model (FPBLM) in the process of learning mathematics in high schools in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. In this study also saw the interaction between the level of Prior Mathematics Ability (PMA) of students with the application of flipped-problem based learning models based on LMS-Google Classroom. PMA students consist of high, medium and low levels This research is quasi-experiment research with pre-test post-test control group design. The sample in this study was the second level high school students from two schools totaling 62 people. Two-way ANOVA Test and Post Hoc-LSD Test was used. Based on the analysis test, it was found that the average mathematics learning outcomes of students taught using the FPBLM based on Google Classroom LMS experienced a significant increase compared to conventional learning. The results of the questionnaire in learning also obtained results that students at the second level of high school felt enthusiastic, motivated and eager to take part in learning in the classroom. Digital-based learning with the model of FPBLM on LMS-Google Classroom provides a new experience for second-level students in High School in participating in mathematics learning both in class and outside the classroom.
This research and development aims to 1) to determine the feasibility of developing mathematics learning media using the Macromedia Flash application program, 2) to find out the attractiveness of students' responses to the development of mathematics learning media using the Macromedia Flash application program. This research was carried out using the Research & Development (R & D) method using the modified Borg & Gall development procedure, which is 10 stages, with only limited access to the 7th stage. Data collection techniques using validation questionnaire sheet. The instrument used was a validation questionnaire sheet to determine the feasibility of the module and questionnaire for student responses to find out the interest. Data analysis techniques used in research and development are quantitative descriptive to process data in the form of scores from the validator's assessment and student response, while qualitative descriptive to describe the data in the form of commentary suggestions for improvement from the validator. Based on the results of the validation of the development of mathematics learning media using the Macromedia Flash application program an average score was obtained; (1) the feasibility of developing mathematics learning media using macromedia flash application program results of the validation of material experts obtained an average of 3.73, on linguistic aspects obtained an average of 3.64, on the aspect of feasibility evaluation obtained an average of 3.66, on media experts obtained on average (aspects of media efficiency obtained an average of 3.87, aspects of the function of the buttons obtained an average of 3.5 and the Graphical aspect obtained an average score of 3.4). (2) attracting the development of mathematics learning media using the macromedia flash application program students' responses obtained an average score of 3.61 in the "very interesting" criteria.
The development of the revolution era 4.0 which increasingly rapidly demands the wider community to have the ability to think creatively mathematically. One effort to improve the ability to think creatively is through quality education. Quality education can be improved through to train thinking using the right learning model. This study aims to see which results are more effective in improving students' thinking skills between the two learning models applied. The two models are Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) models. This research method uses quasi experimental method with a posttest only control test design not control group. This study uses two group subjects with two experimental classes. The analysis of the data used the hypothesis testing of the non-correlated 2-sample t-test. Based on the research results obtained Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) models have a better effect on students' creative thinking abilities compared to Problem Based Learning (PBL) models.
The objective of this study is to describe the influence of principals' leadership, work environment, and affiliation motivation on improving the performance of certified teachers at Private Vocational Schools in Tegal City, Indonesia. To achieve this objective, the current study carried out a research survey in Private Vocational Schools of Tegal City. Therefore, data collection was achieved by using survey questionnaire and respondents of the study was school teachers. Thus, this study used quantitative research approach with cross-sectional research design. Data were analyzed by using latest technique, namely; Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study showed that the leadership of the principal, the work environment, and the motivation to affiliate were well perceived by the teachers. Both principal leadership and work environment had direct effects on improving the certified teacher's performance. The teacher's performance can be explained by independent head leadership and work environment variables, however, for independent variables namely; motivation to affiliate did not have enough significant influence. Hence, teacher's performance can be improved through the leadership of principals and a conducive work environment.
Almost all countries pay full attention to the education system, especially countries with smaller populations have an advantage in this field. Relatively small countries and regions, including Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Estonia and Finland, were at the top of the results of the 2015 Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) test. This test was carried out by evaluating academic achievement for 15 years around the world. In the last evaluation, Shanghai took the overall top position. Japan is one country that has a good learning concept, with the 4th to 7th positions in various fields of competition. The application of cooperative learning with the development of learning methods is very important to improve the achievement of student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to observe the understanding of concepts, and how to think critically in analyzing exam questions. Cooperative learning application with a combination of the "Network Tree Concept Map" method as a depiction to increase students' interest and thinking power.
