This research elaborates on a mosque management model in abnormal conditions (the Covid-19 pandemic). This research determines how mosque congregants and residents around the mosque area converge so that they have a contribution in minimizing the spread of the Corona virus. This research was conducted at Miftahul Yakin Al-Misk Mosque, Tegal Sempur Block, Cisambeng Village, Palasah District, Majalengka, West Java. All efforts and strategies are carried out by mosque managers so that mosque religious activities are more effective and positive, starting from understanding, providing information, deliberation to implementing mosque activities. The method in this research is using descriptive-analytic method with a qualitative approach. Some of the findings in this study include: mosque management has followed health standards in the era of the Covid 19 pandemic, the education and empowerment model of mosques has begun to utilize information technology online, and mosque congregations understand the dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic so that they are aware of health protocols in participating in worship activities and religious mosque.
This article discusses the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the spiritual life of Muslims in the mosque environment. It cannot be avoided if the Corona outbreak also has a major impact on the religious sector, especially in mosques, so it needs a separate formula for dealing with it. Moreover, people in Indonesia are known to be religious and used to busy themselves massively in places of worship such as prayer rooms and mosques. While on the other hand, the crowd aspect is something that must be avoided to avoid contracting the Corona virus lately. For this reason, this study aims to determine how to empower mosque congregations in overcoming the impact of Covid 19; in this case the empowerment of congregation at the Baitul Mukhlisin Mosque in Pangkalan Village, Ciawigebang District, Kuningan, West Java. The method used in this research is an action research method, a combination of data collection and processing in an integrated manner. From the results of this study found a solution to the controversy that occurred among the congregation by building a synergy between DKM of the Baitul Mukhlisin Mosque and IREMA BM as well as religious leaders using a persuasive approach to foster a spirit of cooperation and produce mutual agreement.
Sejarah telah membuktikan bahwa salah satu faktor kunci yang mampu membangun kemajuan dan peradaban bangsa dimulai dengan rekonsiliasi terhadap keberagaman latar belakang antar golongan, suku, ras, agama dan budaya. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengeksplorasi makna definisi operasional dari multikulturalistik, keberagaman sehingga terciptanya budaya pluralism dalam konteks dunia Pendidikan. dengan teknik literature review. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 dimensi yang perlu dipersiapkan guru dalam menerapkan Pendidikan multikulralisme, yakni (1) integrasi koten mata pelajaran (2) proses kontruksi ilmu pengetahuan, (3) mereduksi prasangka buruk, (4) pembelajaran berbasis keadilan, dan (5) memberdayakan budaya sekolah multikural. 5 aspek tersebut menjadi dasar dalam munculnya rasa saling percaya (trust) dan komitmen untuk saling bekerja-sama menciptakan karya sebagai solusi permasalahan dari perspektif peserta didik. Yang kemudian mereka peserta didik memahami konsekuensi dari keberagaman budaya, etnis, suku, aliran (agama) menuju semangat kesamaan hak dan melahirkan budaya gotong-royong demi keadilan sosial yang merupakan solusi dari konflik antar-bangsa.
The research we conducted was motivated by the existence of two disagreements between Jamaahs of the Al-Hidayah mosque in Sukamukti Village, Cikijing District, Majalengka Regency in responding to the circular letter of the Regent of Majalengka Number 400/646/Kesra regarding the Guidelines for Romadhon worship and Eid al-Fitr whether to follow the government's recommendation that said that during the Covid-19 pandemic all routine worship activities that are usually carried out in mosques such as congregational prayers, routine recitations, Friday prayers, tarawih prayers and Eid prayers are carried out at home or are the calls of religious leaders inviting their congregation to continue carrying out routine worship as usual at mosque. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Namely by utilizing qualitative data obtained from interviews with religious leaders, representatives of the village government and congregations of mosques. From the results of the research, it turns out that the congregation of the Jami Al Hidayah mosque prefers to follow the recommendations of religious leaders than to follow the recommendations of the Regent of Majalengka. From this the author knows that in fact the religious leaders are more obeyed than those in the government sector
