This study aims to determine the effect of goal setting training on students' motivation to learn Arabic. Participants were 26 students of class XI of SMA "X" Yogyakarta. They were grouping into 13 students as the experimental group and 13 students as a control group with pre-post control group design. Data were collected with Arabic learning motivation scale, interviews and observations. Result showed that both pretest-posttest (Z = -4359, P = 0.000, P <0.05) and pretest-follow up score on motivation to learn Arabic improve after treatment (Z = -2500, P = 0.012, P <0.05). Therefore goal setting training could enhance Arabic learning motivation. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor motivasi belajar bahasa Arab, baik pada skor prates-pascates (Z= -4.359, P= 0.000, P< 0.05) maupun tindak lanjut (Z= -2.500, P= 0.012, P< 0.05). Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pelatihan goal setting mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar bahasa Arab siswa kelas XI SMA "X" Yogyakarta.
Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian reward dengan model tabungan kepingan terhadap kepatuhan anak usia dini. Subjek terdiri empat siswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistika non parametrik uji Friedman dan dilakukan analisis tambahan dengan Uji peringkat bertanda Wilcoxon. Alat ukur menggunakan behavioral check list kepatuhan anak. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimental small N design dengan format ABA. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji Friedman didapat (X²) = 6,500 dengan p= 0,039 (p< 0,05). Uji peringkat bertanda Wilcoxon menunjukkan ada perbedaan kepatuhan yang signifikan antara fase baseline (A1) dengan fase perlakuan (B) nilai Z = -1,826 dengan p = 0,034, p< 0,05 . Selain itu antara fase baseline (A1) dengan fase baseline (A2) ada perbedaan kepatuhan yang signifikan nilai Z = -1,826 dengan p = 0,034, p< 0,05. Tidak ada perbedaan kepatuhan antara fase baseline (A2) dengan fase perlakuan (B) nilai Z = -1,461 dengan p= 0,072, p> 0,05. Kesimpulannya ada pengaruh pemberian reward dengan model tabungan kepingan terhadap kepatuhan anak usia dini. Ada peningkatan kepatuhan anak usia dini ketika diberikan reward dengan model tabungan kepingan.
Bullying is an act of hurting others physically and mentally and is done repeatedly. The case of bullying is one of the issues that are still a particular concern at Muhammadiyah Boarding School Al Mujahidin Gunungkidul. This study aims to reduce the anxiety of victims of bullying by using a rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) counseling approach. The subjects of this study were students of class VII Muhammadiyah Boarding School Al Mujahidin Gunungkidul, who were victims of bullying in classes and schools with a total of 28 students. This research was conducted from August 1 to September 30, 2017. The type and design of the study used collaborative action research. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively using a questionnaire for victims of bullying anxiety. Qualitative analysis is performed on data obtained from interviews, observations, and follow-up. The counseling program with the rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) approach has proven to be effective and has an effect on reducing anxiety in bullying victims, which is characterized by a decrease in anxiety scores. In addition, the subject feels that he is not alone or not isolated; self-confidence increases have a role towards others and can observe and follow instructions given by the researcher.
This study aims to describe the self-efficacy of the first batch of students in the thesis preparation process and the factors that influence it. The subject of this qualitative research with a case study approach took the first 8 students of the 2018 batch of the Faculty of Economics and Social Affairs, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta who were selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected using interview, observation, and documentation methods and were analyzed using interactive techniques. The self-efficacy of the first batch of students in the thesis writing process is illustrated by the courage to face difficulties, immediately rise from failure, survive in the face of obstacles, are ready to face challenges in the future, and are able to motivate themselves in every situation. Past experience is the main factor that affects the self-efficacy of first-generation students in writing a thesis.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran self efficacy mahasiswa angkatan pertama dalam proses penyusunan skripsi dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Subjek penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ini mengambil 8 mahasiswa angkatan pertama tahun 2018 Fakultas Ekonomi dan Sosial Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis dengan teknik interaktif. Self efficacy mahasiswa angkatan pertama dalam proses penyusunan skripsi digambarkan dengan adanya keberanian menghadapi kesulitan, segera bangkit dari kegagalan, bertahan menghadapi hambatan, siap menghadapi tantangan di masa depan, dan mampu memotivasi diri disetiap keadaan. Pengalaman di masa lalu merupakan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi self efficacy mahasiswa angkatan pertama dalam menyusun skripsi. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan evaluasi tenaga pendidik terhadap perbaikan sistem akademik di suatu instansi pendidikan atau Program Studi yang masih baru khususnya pada program tugas akhir skripsi mahasiswa.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact in various aspects including mental health. As the frontline handling of covid-19, health workers are vulnerable to psychological impacts due to longer working hours than usual, the risk of exposure to the virus, and the existence of a double job desk during the pandemic, making them vulnerable to burnout which results in psychological problems. In order for health workers to be able to manage psychological problems so that their feelings become more positive in receiving various stimuli, then training in diversity may be a solution. The purpose of this study is to analyze pandemic fatigue in health workers through the Gratitude Training Service Program. This research method is action research with an experimental type with One Group Pretest-Posttest and a research sample of 20 people. Data collection was carried out using the PANAS (Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule) scale and analyzed with a paired sample t-test. The results showed that after training there was a decrease in the size of the negative affect to be low and very low with a p value of 0.000. There were significant differences related to the decrease in negative affect in respondents before and after treatment. Pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak di berbagai aspek termasuk kesehatan mental. Sebagai garda terdepan penangan covid-19, tenaga kesehatan menjadi rentan terkena dampak psikologis akibat jam kerja yang lebih panjang dari biasanya, resiko terpapar virus, dan adanya double job desk selama pandemi, sehingga rentan mengalami burnout yang mengakibatkan timbulnya permasalahan psikologis. Agar nakes mampu mengelola permasalahan psikologis sehingga perasaannya menjadi lebih positif dalam menerima berbagai stimulus, maka pelatihan kebersyukuran mungkin menjadi solusi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk menganalisa pandemic fatigue pada tenaga kesehatan melalui Gratitude Training Service Program. Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan (action research) dengan jenis eksperimen dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala PANAS (Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule) dan dianalisis dengan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setelah pelatihan terjadi penurunan kebersyukuran afek negative sedang menjadi rendah dan sangat rendah dengan p value 0.000. Ada perbedeaan yang signifikan terkait penurunan afek negatif pada responden sebelum dan setelah perlakuan.
