This article is motivated by issues attitude and character of citizenship among the younger generation which is very alarming. The understanding of democracy that one result of excessive democratic freedoms. Disorientation attitude and character citizenship (civic disposition) experienced by almost all elements of the nation thus eliminating the identity of the nation and much of the value-milai democracy. Pesantren Daarut Tauhid as modern schools also provide planting of democratic values among his students. The data were taken with the study documentation, observations, interviews, and the active participation of researchers in the field. The results of this study found: democracy education should be introduced in educational institutions schools, for boarding institutions are educational institutions which make the process of developing the potential of learners (students). Through the process of democratic education will produce a democratic man.For students develop civic disposition, pendidikkan process conducted in schools in various ways; 1) exemplary; 2) exercise and habituation; 3) educate through ibrah (taking lessons); 4) educate through mauidzah (advice); 5) educate through discipline; and 6) educate targib wa tahzid (inducements and threats). Disorientasi sikap dan watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) hampir dialami oleh seluruh elemen bangsa sehingga menghilangkan jati diri anak bangsa dan jauh dari nilai-milai demokrasi. Pesantren Daarut Tauhid sebagai pesantren modern juga memberikan penanaman nilai-nilai demokrasi dikalangan para santrinya. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan studi dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, dan partisipasi aktif peneliti dilapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan: Pendidikan demokrasi hendaknya dikenalkan di lembaga pendidikan pesantren, karena lembaga pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang melakukan proses mengembangkan potensi peserta didik (santri). Saat ini penguatan wawasan kebangsaan masih terpusat di persekolahan melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Namun sebenarnya penguatan wawasan kebangsaan bagi generasi muda bisa melalui komunitas, salah satunya yaitu komunitas Asian African Reading Club dengan kegiatan utamanya yaitu tadarus buku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan menganalisis kegiatan tadarus buku dalam menguatkan wawasan kebangsaan bagi generasi muda. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi literature. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tadarus buku dapat memperkokoh wawasan kebangsaan bagi generasi muda, hal tersebut dikarenakan buku-buku yang dibaca bertemakan kebangsaan dan adanya kekuatan dari narasumber dalam mendiskusikan terkait dengan topik yang sudah dibaca oleh peserta tadarus buku.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Strengthening the insight into the national generation of the young generation through reading book activities (Tadarus)At present, the strengthening of nationalism is still centered in schooling through the learning of Citizenship Education. This study aims to explore and analyze reading book activities (Tadarus) in strengthening national insight for the youth. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection through interviews, observation, documentation studies, and literature studies. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The findings of this study indicate that reading book activities (Tadarus) can strengthen national insight for the youth because books are read with the theme of nationality and the power of the speakers in discussing related topics that have been read by participants.
Generasi bangsa harus mampu mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup, hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara dan lembaga, salah satunya yaitu di pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis aktivitas pesantren dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada kehidupan santri. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Kesimpulannya adalah santri di pesantren Syaikhona Moh. Cholil Bangkalan menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, sebagai sumber menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan sesamanya. Salah satunya melalui Pendidikan dan program-program pesantren yang mencerminkan nilainilai Pancasila. This study aims to understand the innovation of strengthening religious character through a devotional program in civic education. This research is to know how devotional programs can increase the spiritual aspect and the efforts made by the school in supporting the program. The research design used was qualitative research with a case study method. Technique collection data were carried out by interview, observation, literature, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) devotional program conducted in the school could strengthen the religious character of the students, (2) the innovation form in increasing the religious character is by carrying out devotional programs routinely at school, and it becomes an obligation to be followed. (3) Inhibiting and supporting factors faced is about the place of a religious program that is less attractive, the time of worship held during the day, the selection of religious themes. While the supporting factors in the form of assistance from stakeholders such as teachers who are coordinated and cooperate with each other in achieving the objectives of the devotional program. In addition, the school provides a space for students, especially the student council officials to lead the devotional program.
