Water in karst areas flows deep below the surface due to geological causes, making it difficult to get pure air on the surface. The karst region has passed with drought as a result. In the watershed Kakap Springs, this paper will examine the adaptability of the community to drought. The study area covers seven villages. The evaluation uses a quantitative descriptive method based on human, social, natural, physical, and financial factors. Adaptation capacity in the research area varies with the driving factor is financial. This is because exposure to drought has been going on for a long time and every year, so people have prepared themselves financially. Intensive exposure also causes the distribution of adaptive capacity in each village to be regulated at a moderate level. It is necessary to increase social capacity so that the adaptive capacity of the community becomes higher.

Tourism is one of the ways for residents at the village to gain income and aslo a contributor to the national economy. The tourism that is found in every village nowadays favors the potential of the surrounding nature. Pacitan Regency is known to have tourism potential related to the advantages of its karst landscape. Pacitan also got the nickname "1000 Goa" because there are many karst caves found there. Villages in Pacitan Regency have developed a lot of eco-karst tourism. Dersono Village is a village located in Pringkuku District, Pacitan Regency. There is one leading eco-karst tourism in the village that is currently being managed, namely the Maron River. Although it has similarities with other tourism in Pacitan Regency, which is the same theme of eco-karst, however Maron River certainly has its own attraction which made tourists who come to Pacitan Regency decided to visit the Maron River This study aims to analyze the potential for tourism attraction of Maron River based on the 4A tourism components. The method used in this study is descriptive research with data collection through observation and interviews. Based on the results of the study, the study found that the tourism attraction of Maron River based on 4A has met the parameters. However, it still needs to be developed so that the number of tourist visits continues to increase and can be expanded with new eco-karst attractions.

Wanareja Subdistrict is one of 24 subdistricts in Cilacap Regency which experiences floods every year. In 2022, until September, Wanareja District will experience four floods. Utilization of remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can be used to determine the level of vulnerability to flood disasters. This study aims to process the parameters that cause flooding and create a flood hazard map using Geographic Information System (GIS) aplikasi. The method used is scoring, weighting, and overlaying the parameters that cause flooding, namely land use, rainfall, slope, altitude, soil type, and river buffer which are processed using the ArcGIS 10.8 application. The results of this study are in the form of a flood vulnerability map which shows that Wanareja District has three levels of flood vulnerability, namely safe, low, and moderate. The low vulnerability level is the area that has the largest area, namely 9927.26 Ha (52%), while the medium vulnerability level is 7254.53 Ha (38%), and the safe vulnerability level has the smallest area, namely 1909.09 Ha (10%) of the total area in the Wanareja District of 19090.88 Ha
The research was carried out in Ngargoyoso Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency based on the consideration that natural disasters often occur according to landslides. Therefore, an institutional form of Disaster Resilient Village is needed in disaster planning at the village level as a form of increasing disaster preparedness and management. Meanwhile, this research aims to emphasize the village officials, local village youth with the forum Karangtaruna, and the local community. The method of conducting this research is training and mentoring consisting of 6 (six) phases of activities including i) coordination and outreach, ii) FGD (Forum Group Discussion) in a participatory manner by the community, iii) disaster management training, iv) tracing disaster-prone areas, v) assistance in preparing village disaster documents, and vi) evaluating the implementation of activities. The target of the output from the PKM is the formation of the Disaster Resilient Village.
