Mathematical thinking is an important aspect of mathematics education and, therefore, also needs to be understood by prospective teachers. Prospective teachers should have the ability to analyze and interpret students’ mathematical thinking. Comparing model is one of the interpretation models from Wilson, Lee, and Hollebrands. This article will describe the prospective teacher used the model of the building process in interpretation students' mathematical thinking. Subjects selected by considering them in following the students’ strategies in solving the Building Construction Problem. Comparing model is a model of interpretation in which a person interprets student thinking based on student work. There are two types comparing model building process prospective teacher use in interpreting students’ mathematical thinking ie. comparing work and comparing knowledge. In comparing works, prospective teachers use an external representation rubric. This is used to analyze student activities in order to provide an interpretation that is comparing the work of students with their own work. In comparing knowledge, prospective teachers use internal representation rubrics to provide interpretation by comparing the students' work with their knowledge or thought.
Kata Kunci: Partisipasi Orang Tua, Pembelajaran Online, Fase Kelas Di Sekolah Dasar Abstract: This study aims to (1) find out how parents' participation in supporting online learning activities for students and (2) find out whether there are differences in the participation that parents give high class and low class students. This research is a quantitative research with a survey method. The number of subjects in this study were 60 parents of students from class I-VI SD Negeri 1 Seren. The sampling technique in this study is probability sampling with the type of simple random sampling. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics using the percentage formula and the T test. The results of this study indicate that the participation of parents in supporting online learning activities for students is given in the form of parents as: educators, mentors, motivators, and facilitators. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis test obtained the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there are differences in parental participation in online learning at home in terms of the class phase in elementary schools. The average percentage of parental participation in online learning in low classes is 75.14% greater than the average participation of parents in online learning in high classes, namely 61.85% so that parents' participation in online learning in low classes is better. The rapid development of technology has invaded the world of education over time. This, of course, must be balanced with the quality and professionalism of teachers. Teachers must be rich in information and technology mastery to build mature learning concepts. Of course, in order to generate student activity in learning, it also needs to be supported by learning tools that the teacher has prepared. The current pandemic condition makes students study online. In such conditions, teaching materials are needed to help students master the material independently. Electronic modules can be developed and integrated with the theory of multiple intelligences in learning to build students' concepts and thinking skills in learning maximally. The results of the multiple intelligence-based e-module research developed are feasible to use because they meet the valid, practical, and effective criteria. Based on the validity test conducted by media experts, material experts, and teachers, the average score was 3.85. The practicality test through a student response questionnaire conducted with a limited and wide-field trial obtained an average score of 3.64 and was categorized as effective in learning completeness with 84%.
