This research aims at developing a module for teaching Physics in high school. The research employs Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluation). The research ends up on the Implement stage where the researchers only validate the module to the expert for it does not require the students’ responses. The module developed by researchers is Physics Practical Module Based on Scientific Method for the Tenth Grade High School Students in the Second Semester. Validation process is based on validation from the material expert, the design expert and the language expert. The validation uses Likert scale from 1 to 5, with the scale 1 of very low to 5 of very good grades. The average validation results of the three main aspects of material or content, design and language are 4.10 or 82% and is categorized as “good” category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Physics Practical Module Based on Scientific Method for the Tenth Grade High School students in the Second Semester is appropriately to be used.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
