Physics topic about pressure sometime feels abstract for students. For solution about abtract problem the students, needed media learning can explain physics topic is with mobile learning with android. Almost all the students have smartphone, it would be nice if the smartphone is used for learning. Android apps in this study shows competence, materials, example problems, learning videos and interactive evaluation questions. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) with its development process using a model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). ADDIE model development research is done only until the Development stage, because of this study was limited to develop and produce a valid instructional media applications to be implemented based on an assessment validator. Data collection instruments consist of expert validation sheet material and sheet media expert validation given to 6 (six) people validator that three media experts and three experts material. This study shows that the validation results are to be obtained percentage scoring average of 85.25% with a valid category. Based on the results of a study and discussion can be concluded that the application of instructional media android-based mobile learning are valid for use in learning of physics.
AbstrakTujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan fungsi teknologi dan internet sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis android di SMK Bina Mandiri Depok. Media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi telepon seluler disebut dengan mobile learning. Mobile learning merupakan salah satu alternatif pengembangan media pembelajaran. Kehadiran mobile learning ditujukan sebagai pelengkap pembelajaran serta memberikan kesempatan pada siswa untuk mempelajari materi yang kurang dikuasai di manapun dan kapanpun. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dalam tiga tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap perencanaan yaitu menyiapkan bahan presentasi media pembelajaran android, modul pelatihan, serta sarana dan prasarana dalam menunjang pelatihan. Tahap pelaksanaan yaitu kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30-31 Mei 2016. Tahap evaluasi yaitu memberikan evaluasi terhadap hasil produk peserta pelatihan dalam bentuk aplikasi android. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan serta diskusi. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan informasi dalam membuat media pembelajaran berbasis android. Materi yang diberikan saat pelatihan memuat pembuatan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, dan penyebaran media pembelajaran dalam bentuk mobile learning. This research aims to investigate the influence of project based learning (PjBL) learning that integrates with science, technology, engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) on optical concepts with improved student science process skills. The method of study used is a descriptive method. Data is obtained from a learning observation sheet to determine the skills of the science process developed by students and polls used to capture student responses to learning. The instrument in this study uses a science process skills test in the form of an observation sheet and a subjective test. The science process skills tests used in this study include asking questions, observing, hypothesized, planning experiments, interpretation, and communicating. The Data that has been obtained is then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study show that students have all indicators of the science process skills that belong to the good category (average rating 79.33). Students give a positive response to learning, because they feel more understanding, improving motivation and learning interests.
The ability to solve physics problems is still relatively low. Students more often directly use mathematical equations without performing concept understanding analysis. Therefore, learning strategies and media are suitable for physics learning. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive animated videos combined with flipped classroom learning models. This research uses Research and Development (R and D) methods, with 4D development models. The average validation test results are 90,91%, with a good category. So, the animation physics video can use in a flipped classroom. This physics animation video makes it easier for students to learn temperature materials and their changes without being limited by space and time. These physics learning animation videos are highly interactive and can explain abstract physics concepts and integrate with flipped classrooms.
