The new approach to schedule-related problems learning with use of robotics is reported. The materials are based on the authors' teaching experience within framework of Robotics School at Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University. The proposed learning problem may be used both for scheduling algorithms exploring and robotics competitions.
The article deals with multimodal learning strategies aimed at transferring philological knowledge with the help of information and communications technology (ICT). Using ICT makes it possible to apply visual association and create spatial images that express important object properties defined clearly by the means of dynamic visualization (animation). The authors note that using ICT in the sphere is associated with several methodological difficulties, since it requires a philologist-educator who possess a wide range of competences that go beyond humanitarian knowledge. The optimum software that allows creating audio-visual construct (interactive poster, computer animation, tag cloud, cognitive map etc.) is offered for studying process. The paper presents the results of sociological research on the readiness of students of philological specialties in pedagogical universities along with the teachers in different educational units for implementation of multimodal strategies of teaching using ICT. The authors proved the need to introduce an integrative course “Use of ICT in the study of philological disciplines”.
The article is devoted the question of forming a full functional based on cloud technology to study subjects from programming cycle for specialists in programming. The object of the research – the process applying cloud technologies in learning. The subject of the research – cloud technology in training of specialists in programming. The purpose of the research – forming a full functional learning environment for training of specialists in programming based on cloud technology. The method of research – analyses. To achieve the goal of the research was conducted review of existing integrated programming environments. First of all, such environments should be based on cloud technologies, since among the services provided by cloud technologies is a service SaaS. Also, the environment should support the possibility of developing programs in different programming languages, which allowed organize learning on programming in a single environment. In this environment was chosen cloud environments Cloud9 IDE. Cloud9 IDE is an Internet environment for development applications in programming language Javascript for Node.js, HTML5/CSS, PHP, Java, Ruby on Rails, C/C++, Python, allowing you to work in free and paid modes.Since service SaaS used to provide learning process and research only specialized software, therefore necessary to provide the learning materials (texts of lectures, laboratory and practical work, tutorials, self-study materials, etc.). These materials every student can study to self-pace, on their own trajectory. That student will acquire the ability and skills as needed – out bulky projects and approaches to learning.
A competitive specialist in any field must have both professional skills and «soft skills»: the ability to think creatively and manage time, communication skills, networking, project management, effective teamwork, personal effectiveness, management and strategic skills. There is also the concept of emotional intelligence, the ability to negotiate and be convincing (self-confident). Attention is paid to systematic thinking and assessment of risks and consequences of one's own actions, service orientation, etc. The concept of «soft skills» is quite new and little studied in Ukraine, but it is given a lot of attention by employers. The purpose of the article is to review and organize the formed views on creativity; substantiation of the ratio of soft, innovative and communicative skills and the development of the future specialist; it has been proven that creativity is a concept that develops throughout life, but function best in childhood (a period when non-standard thinking thrives). It is established that creativity (as a kind of soft skills) in combination with innovative and communicative technologies create an innovation that allows to educate a highly qualified competent specialist, ready for decisive action. It is analyzed and substantiated that the use of innovative tools (3D pen modeling) promotes the development of creativity from an early age, opens up to the person the widest possible opportunities and prospects. The process, basic rules, mistakes during modeling, intersectoral connections, as well as the need for 3D modeling for different professions are covered. 3D pen modeling becomes the basis for understanding and using 3D printing both for everyday life and for the global needs of mankind. The acquired skills and knowledge allow to become a developer on the border of different industries, both related and non-related. Therefore, intersectoral communication and understanding of different technologies come to the fore. Key words: soft skills, creativity, innovation, information and communication technologies, 3d modeling, 3d pen.
The researchers of methodological tools for differentiation of training higher mathematics at technical universities are chosen different methods approach to teaching mathematics, which provides the organization of mastering the content of professionally directed training of mathematics preparation students through the introduction of a teaching productive learning method. To identify methodological features of using productive learning methods of training higher mathematics engineer students at technical universities. We can’t underestimate the important role of mathematical training in the professional development of personality of the students in technical universities. Objectives of higher technical education is to produce creative person, able to work in a rapidly changing environment. Therefore, the use of productive learning methods of training higher mathematics engineer students at technical universities such as project method, multilevel studies, case-method, method teaching in groups, training in cooperation, the method portfolio, the method of problem-based learning, heuristic method, research training and so contributes to personal development, able to quickly make the right decisions. The author analyzed, examined the particular use of productive learning methods as multi-level learning, method of teaching in groups, training in cooperation, heuristic method, problem-based learning. The features of these methods use the example parts of Mathematics «Indefinite and definite integrals». Of the proposed methods of teaching higher mathematics promotes students' cognitive activity, ability to work independently with new information, the ability to analyze data subcritical. These methods can be used in the process of learning about blended learning model both individually and in combination with each other. Are the same methods the teacher can use in different ways, directing the activities of students or to reproduce previously acquired knowledge (reproductive activities) or meet new independent learning tasks (creative activity).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
