We opted for the realization of an integrative review, was held search in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) in August 2015, using the keywords: Vertical transmission of infectious disease, HIV and Nursing associated with the Boolean AND operator. Results: Analyzing the articles appeared two themes: Nursing guidelines for reducing the risk of vertical transmission: the importance of nurses to reduce vertical transmission of HIV in Brazil is important, no doubt this professional develops activities relevant to public health from the instances of the grievances of the reduction policy to instances of comprehensive care to pregnant women, new mothers and mothers. Nursing orientation consequences of postpartum: health professionals, including nurses is critical to support families living with or affected by HIV. Conclusion: This research aims at the importance of professional training for nurses working in the area, as a skilled and sensitive nurse makes the advice of active listening process, generating trust between you and the woman, during consultations, one must realize a return that offered guidelines are being absorbed and practiced the same.

Informa-se que o caderno de atenção básica nº 39: Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família – volume 1: Ferramentas para a gestão e para o trabalho cotidiano diz respeito aos Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF) nos municípios do Brasil, visando a aumentar a efetivação da resolutividade e a qualidade da Atenção Básica. Acrescenta-se que este pertence às normas e manuais técnicos, é uma publicação do Ministério da Saúde, da Secretaria de Atenção à Saúde e Departamento de Ações Programáticas. Detalha-se que essa é a primeira edição do caderno de atenção básica nº 39, publicada em 2014, com 118 páginas e 50 mil exemplares.

In pediatric emergencies, care is defined according to the priority of the cases, analyzed from a triage in order to filter this priority, as an urgency or emergency, based on the complaints and the clinical scenario of the patients. Objectives: To investigate how the course “Training of Multipliers in Workshops - Caring for the Caregiver∕ Regaining Self-Esteem” contributed to a new perception of self-care, experienced by professionals working in the PCU in the city of João Pessoa, in spite of situations of emotional fragility, triggered in the work environment. Method: The study used a qualitative approach, using as method for data collection a semi-structured questionnaire with questions about self-care practices used before and after the course. The research population included participants of the course in 2013 and the sample was composed of all who provided the necessary information, resulting in 36 participants. Results: It was observed through the answers, significant changes in everyday practices related to self-care, where 29 participants, equivalent to 81%, were influenced by the course. Conclusion: It was significantly observed that the course changed the understanding of self-care by developing its experiences with the participants.
