Traditional periodization has some characteristics that are the individualization of the training load, training load response based on biological laws and most of these models have the objective of the athlete archive the peak. The contemporary periodization has the following characteristics: individualized training load with monitoring of the physiological adaptation, training of the specific motor capacities of the modality, use of the evolution time and of the residual training effect for the coach prescribes the session, much attention with technical and tactical training and attention in the training with the injury level. Which periodization (traditional and contemporary) models are indicated to be used in contemporary sports? The objective of the review was to determining the types of periodization (traditional and contemporary) for each sport (individual, team, and combat). Traditional periodization has four types of periodization for the coach prescribes the training. The periodization models are the traditional periodization of Matveev, the pendular periodization of Arosiev and Kalinin, the high load system of Vorobiev and the periodization of the structural scheme of high-intensity loads of Tschiene. Contemporary periodization are for the individual sport (block periodization, individualized periodization and ATR periodization), a model for the individualized and collective sports (periodization of the structural bells), five periodization for the collective sports games (periodization of long-form state, microstructure periodization, tactical periodization, non-linear periodization and selective load periodization) and a model for the volleyball (specific periodization for the volleyball). In conclusion, the coach that knows the periodization has more probability of success during a championship.
ResumoO objetivo da revisão foi de exemplificar a metodologia de treino do salto de impulsão vertical no futebol assente em premissas táticas. O treino das capacidades físicas, desprovido da sua relação com o verdadeiro significado do Futebol, tem sido bastante utilizado nos últimos anos. Este tipo de trabalho esquece, frequentemente, a relação que deveria existir com o modelo de jogo do treinador, não maximizando a sua utilidade para a forma de jogar que se pretende cultivar na equipa. No caso do salto, este só existe no Futebol enquanto habilidade aberta, pertencente a um sistema termodinâmico de não-equilíbrio, dentro do qual o jogador deverá tomar deliberada e oportunamente a decisão de saltar. Coaching football regarding only physical parameters is a coaching model that has been used often in the last years. Coaches frequently prescribe exercises that are not related with their pattern play. Vertical jump is used in soccer by players to respond to coaches' tactics and strategy, so we believe that there must be a connection between exercise prescription to improve vertical jump and the coaches' model of play. We believe that practicing exercises regarding only physical demands is not attempting the so desired coaching specificity in soccer.
Specificity principle the trainer needs to prepare the session the most similar to the competition and the physical training with the strength and the resistance required during the sports practice. How the coach can use the specificity principle in the volleyball training? Volleyball books do not have this information. Then, the objective of the mini-review was to explaining the use of the specificity principle in the volleyball training. Traditional periodization of Matveev determined that aerobic training is the most important session for the athlete because this training for the athlete practices higher loads in the other training phase. This type of training is not specific for the volleyball because the rally is alactic and the match improves the aerobic conditioning, in the volleyball the physical training more important for the volleyball player is the strength training. The volleyball players deserve to practice the special strength training and reactive strength training because these strength trainings is in accordance with the specificity principle. The years 80 was the Cooper era because the volleyball players practiced long-running of 5 kilometers or more. The long-running is not specific for the volleyball player because this match is intermittent. Then, the type of training with an intermittent action is the fartlek and the interval training. Therefore, knowing the content of the specificity principle is important for the physical trainer to elaborate the training. The volleyball coach needs to know the specificity principle for elaborate with more quality the session and the periodization for the volleyball players. In conclusion, the specificity principle is useful to guide the training.
O funcionamento da visão é complexo, mas vários cientistas do esporte investigam sobre esse tema porque diversas tarefas das modalidades dependem da visão para uma boa execução. A maioria dos estudos sobre a visão no esporte acontecem no futebol. Talvez isso ocorra porque a literatura do futebol e dos seus derivados recomendam na partida ênfase na visão periférica. O objetivo da revisão foi de apresentar os estudos sobre a visão no futebol e no futsal. Foram selecionados cinco estudos, quatro sobre o futebol e um sobre o futsal. A primeira investigação mostrou como a visão atua numa tarefa defensiva, o segundo estudo evidenciou a percepção visual, na terceira pesquisa foi estudado o pênalti e no quarto estudo sobre o futebol foi abordado o conhecimento do resultado e a visão. A única investigação sobre o futsal foi sobre o aprendizado neuromotor, os atletas tiveram aquisição do treino da visão periférica. Em conclusão, pesquisar a visão no futebol e no futsal é importante porque o atleta desse esporte precisa jogar de cabeça erguida.
