The assessment tool to evaluate learner performance on the apprenticeship is variety. Therefore, we were need a standardized assessment tool. This study was attempt to develop a competency based assessment model on job performance in apprentice of the family welfare education. Problem solving was conducted using research and development approach, through stages of: (1) a study introduction, (2) a development model, and (3) a validation model. The research subjects are internal and external tutors, also a learner intern. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, survey and expert judgment. The results showed that the planning, the instrument and the implementation of the assessment was the development of competency based assessment model on job performance in family welfare education apprenticeship. Planning assessment was consisting of components of the purpose, job performance, and assessment methods. An instrument assessment was use a test of performance in the form of assessment rubrics. The implementation of the assessment was covering a preparation, collecting, judging, deciding, and moderation stage. From the validation model through the expert judgment, it turns out that assessment model was already developed feasible to implement on job performance assessment in family welfare education apprenticeship
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kemampuan kolaboratif mahasiswa PKK angkatan 2011 pada perkuliahan Bimbingan Perawatan Anak melalui kegiatan Lesson Study, khususnya pada pokok bahasan pemanfaatan benda di lingkungan rumah yang difungsikan sebagai sarana Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE). Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif melalui 2 siklus dengan sampel sebanyak 26 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan pembelajaran melalui kegiatan Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kolaboratif mahasiswa. Pada siklus 1, sebagian besar mahasiswa mampu mengelola kelompok dengan kategori tinggi, kurang dari setengah mahasiswa mampu bekerja dan belajar secara kolaboratif dalam kelompok dengan kategori cukup, lebih dari setengah mahasiswa mampu memecahkan masalah dalam kelompok dengan kategori cukup, dan kurang dari setengah mahasiswa mampu mengatasi perbedaan dalam kelompok dengan kategori cukup. Pada siklus 2, sebagian besar mahasiswa mampu mengelola kelompok dengan kategori sangat tinggi, lebih dari setengah mahasiswa mampu bekerja dan belajar secara kolaboratif dalam kelompok dengan kategori cukup, lebih dari setengah mahasiswa mampu memecahkan masalah dalam kelompok dengan kategori tinggi, dan lebih dari setengah mahasiswa mampu mengatasi perbedaan dalam kelompok dengan kategori cukup.Kata kunci: Kemampuan, Kolaboratif, Lesson Study AbstractThis research aims to determine how important collaborative ability of students college of Home Economics 2011 were in Children Care Guidance lectures through Lesson Study, particularly in the use of objects in a house that function as media of Educational Gaming Equipment. This research used descriptive method. The research was conducted through two cycles with a sample of 26 students. The results showed that by learning through Lesson Study, students can improve their collaborative capabilities. In cycle 1, most students are able to manage the group with high category, less than half students are able to work and learn collaboratively in a group with enough categories, more than half students are able to solve problems in a group with enough categories, and less than half students are able to overcome differences in the group with enough categories. In cycle 2, the majority of students are able to manage a group with high category, more than half students are able to work and learn collaboratively in a group with enough categories, more than half students are able to solve problems in groups with high category, and more than half students are able resolve differences in a group with enough categories.Keywords: Ability, Collaborative, Lesson Study.
The purpose of this research is to apply a competency-based assessment model on the job performance of Public Area at Housekeeping Department. The scope of the study produced 2 targets in housekeeping department: 1) competency based assessmen model on the job performance of public area; 2) assessment tool on job performance of public area. This study was used a descriptive method with three stages of development study. First is a preliminary study, second stage is development model, and finally is validation test of the model. The research subject was teacher of public area subject matter, and employees of housekeeping department. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and expert judgment. Data was analyzed in accordance with the procedures and characteristic of the findings. It was used both the qualitative and quantitative data. The finding showed that competency-based assessment model on the job performance of public area in housekeeping department included the planning, the instrument and the process of assessment stages. The instrument consisted of the preparation, practices, and outcome of assessment stages. The conclusion is assessment tools on the public area practices using competency-based assessment is very appropriate to apply this competency-based assessment at senior vocational high school, especially for job performance on housekeeping department expertise. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan model Competency Based Assessment pada pengembangan Job Performance Public Area di Housekeeping Department. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan: (1) Model Competency Based Assessment pada pengembangan Job Performance Public Area di Housekeeping Department, (2) Alat Penilaian Job Performance Public Area di Housekeeping Department. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan Research and Development. Studi pengembangan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, meliputi: Tahap pertama merupakan tahap studi pendahuluan, Tahap kedua merupakan tahap pengembangan model dan Tahap ketiga merupakan tahap uji validasi model. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru pengampu mata pelajaran Public Area dan praktisi dari housekeeping depatment. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan expert judgement. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur dan karakteristik dari temuan data penelitian; untuk data kuantitatif dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan untuk data kualitatif dianalisis secara kualitatif. Temuan penelitian berkaitan dengan Model Competency Based Assessment pada pengembangan Job Performance Public Area di Housekeeping Department meliputi tahap perencanaan penilaian, instrumen penilaian, dan pelaksanaan penilaian. Instrumen penilaian terdiri dari tahap persiapan praktik, proses praktik, dan hasil praktik. Dari temuan penelitian dan hasil validasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Alat Penilaian praktik Public Area dengan menerapkan model Competency Based Assessment “sangat layak†untuk diimplementasikan di SMK Akomodasi Perhotelan dan di Housekeeping Department pada saat melakukan penilaian terhadap Job Performance Public area. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan adanya tuntutan kompetensi peserta didik atau lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan harus sesuai dengan tuntutan lapangan kerja. Peserta didik harus diberikan pengalaman belajar yang sesuai dengan tuntutan dunia usaha dan industri. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengetahui kesesuaian lulusan dengan tuntutan lapangan kerja dibutuhkan alat penilaian yang dapat mengukur capaian kompetensi peserta didik yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kompetensi kerja, sehingga capaian kompetensi lulusan memperoleh pengakuan dari pihak dunia kerja (stakeholders). Atas dasar pemikiran tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan merancang bangun model Holistic Assessment pada uji kompetensi keahlian produktif Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Rancang bangun model dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development. Sesuai dengan tahapan penelitian dihasilkan luaran sebagai berikut: 1) Model Holistic Assessment pada uji kompetensi keahlian produktif Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, 2) Alat penilaian model Holistic Assessment pada uji kompetensi keahlian produktif.Kata Kunci : holistic, assessment, uji kompetensi, SMK Abstract: This study was based on the fact of existing students' or vocational school graduates' competence demand that should be matched with professional world demand. The students should be given learning experience that was in line with business world and industry demand. Therefore, to found out the conformity of graduates and business world and industry demand needed assessment instrument that could measure the students' competence achievement appropriate with professional competence demand so that the graduates' competence achievement was acknowledged by stakeholders. Based on such point of view, this study aimed at designing and developing Holistic Assessment model in Vocational High School productive skill competence testing. This model design and development was conducted by using Research and Development approach. According to such stages, the output werw gained as following here: 1) Holistic Assessment model guide in productive skill competence testing of Vocational High School, 2) Holistic Assessment model evaluation in productive skill competence testing.
Alat penilaian yang standar di SMK Akomodasi Perhotelan yang digunakan saat praktikum sangat diperlukan. Alat penilaian yang ada saat ini belum mengacu pada SOP Hotel dan kebutuhan dari masing-masing kompetensi keahlian. Urgensi penelitian ini mengembangkan alat penilaian yang berbentuk e-rubric yang dibutuhkan guru SMK Akomodasi Perhotelan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan: 1) Panduan Pembuatan dan Penggunaan E-rubric Assessment Bidang Akomodasi Perhotelan, 2) E-rubric dengan Pendekatan Competency Based Assessment Pada Bidang Keahlian Akomodasi Perhotelan di SMK. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan Research and Development. Penelitian mencakup studi pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap uji validasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari peserta didik dan guru produktif bidang keahlian akomodasi perhotelan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan uji kompetensi. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur dan karakteristik dari temuan data penelitian; untuk data kuantitatif dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan untuk data kualitatif dianalisis secara kualitatif. Alat penilaian kinerja yang biasa digunakan secara manual dapat dikembangkan menjadi e-rubric assessment oleh guru di sekolah maupun pada saat peserta didik sedang melakukan Praktek Kerja Lapangan di hotel. Hasil validasi terhadap panduan pembuatan dan penggunaan E-Rubric dengan Pendekatan Competency Based Assessment pada bidang keahlian akomodasi perhotelan di SMK dinyatakan sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan
