This study aims to describe the level of loyalty, pride, and knowledge of YouTubers in the Sundanese language in the YouTube Fiksi channel. This study used a qualitative-quantitative descriptive approach. The data were in the form of YouTuber’s utterances obtained from the YouTube Fiksi channel. The findings of this study covered two aspects, namely the language attitude and vitality of Sundanese. First, the language attitude of the YouTuber showed positive attitudes characterized by (1) the attitudes of loyalty to Sundanese (75.7%), (2) attitudes of pride in Sundanese (8.7%), and (3) attitudes of awareness of Sundanese norms (15.7%). Second, the status of the vitality of the Sundanese on the YouTube Fiksi channel was safe. The use of the pattern dengan-, di-, and untuk- showed that Sundanese is intensely used by YouTuber to communicate with speech partners.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tingkat kesetiaan, kebanggaan, dan pengetahuan YouTuber terhadap bahasa Sunda dan vitalitas budaya Sunda di Kanal YouTube Fiksi. Metodologi deskriptif kualitatif-kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tuturan YouTuber yang diambil dari kanal YouTube Fiksi dijadikan sebagai data penelitian ini. Ada dua temuan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu sikap bahasa dan vitalitas bahasa Sunda. Pertama, sikap berbahasa YouTuber dibedakan atas sikap positif yang dibuktikan oleh (1) sikap loyalitas terhadap bahasa Sunda sebesar 75,7%, (2) sikap bangga terhadap bahasa Sunda sebesar 8,7%, dan (3) kesadaran akan norma bahasa sunda sebesar 15,7%. Kedua, kanal YouTube Fiksi menunjukkan kondisi vitalitas bahasa Sunda aman. Pola dengan, di, dan untuk menunjukkan bahwa bahasa Sunda intens digunakan oleh YouTuber.
Textual Representation of the 2021 Human Rights Festival News in Electronic MediaThis study aims to describe the differences in human rights news reporting in the iNews Pagi, Kabar Utama tvOne, and Tribunnews Update programs. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with the help of Norman Fairclough's theory of critical discourse analysis, especially the analysis of textual representation. The data were in the form of the transcription of the news "Moeldoko Diusir Massa" in Kabar Utama tvOne, "Moeldoko Diusir Aktivis HAM" in iNews Pagi, and “Detik-Detik Moeldoko Kena Skakmat Diusir” in Tribunnews Update at the period of 18-19 November 2021. The data were collected by listening and note-taking techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, Kabar Utama tvOne and Tribunnews Update programs used the words diusir, penolakan and ditolak . The grammar used showed the situation. Besides, the intra-sentence conjunctions used yang and dan as explanations and additions in sentences, and namun as a conjunction between sentences. Meanwhile, in iNews Pagi reporting, the dominant clause used active transitive sentences with menolak and mengusir. Then, the coherence between one clause and another had a foreground relationship that supports each other. The similarity of the data was the series of clauses and clause combinations, while the difference was in the clauses.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perbedaan pemberitaan Festival Hak Asasi Manusia tahun 2021 dalam program iNews Pagi, Kabar Utama tvOne, dan Tribunnews Update. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teori analisis wacana kritis Fairclough. Data penelitian ini berupa transkripsi pemberitaan “Moeldoko Diusir Massa” di Kabar Utama tvOne, “Moeldoko Diusir Aktivis HAM” di iNews Pagi, dan “Detik-Detik Moeldoko Kena Skakmat Diusir” di Tribunnews Update periode 18—19 November 2021 yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik simak dan catat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, Kabar Utama tvOne dan Tribunnews Update menggunakan kata diusir dan penolakan atau ditolak, tajuk berita menunjukkan keadaan, dan penggunaan kata hubung yang dan dan sebagai penjelas dan penambahan dalam kalimat, serta adanya penggunaan kata hubung antarkalimat namun. Dalam pemberitaan iNews Pagi, anak kalimat dominan menggunakan kalimat aktif transitif dengan kata menolak dan mengusir dan antaranak kalimat memiliki hubungan latar depan yang saling mendukung. Persamaan data terletak pada rangkaian anak kalimat dan kombinasi anak kalimat, sedangkan perbedaannya terletak pada anak kalimat.
This study aimed to describe the literary activities carried out at Halu Oleo University (UHO) Kendari in the perspective of the sociology of literature by Pierre Bourdieu. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Research data were information about literary activities at UHO obtained through questionnaires, interviews, note-taking, and literature studies. The informants' answers from the interviews in the research instrument were recorded. Literature study was used to obtain as much data as possible from relevant books or writings. Data from interviews, recordings, and literature studies were described and then classified according to the research problem. The results showed that literary activities that are often held at UHO include various literary activities that were packaged in an activity. In it, various literary activities were carried out, such as the Gerbang Lastra (Lastra Gate), Pentas Arena (Arena Performances), Pekan Sastra (Literature Week), Hibah Sastra (Literature Grants), Lomba Seni dan Pameran Karya (Lensa) (Art Competitions and Work Exhibitions), and so on.
