Pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) menjadi satu hal yang penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan angka kecukupan gizi dan pencegahan stunting. Hasil observasi awal di Desa Kubutambahan ditemukan bahwa masih banyak ibu yang belum mengetahui pentingnya MP-ASI. Masih ada ibu yang memberikan MP-ASI sebelum usia 6 bulan. Jenis makanan MP-ASI juga tidak sesuai sehingga hal ini sangat membahayakan bayi. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang pentingnya pemberian MP-ASI dan ibu dapat menyiapkan MP-ASI sesuai dengan usia bayi balitanya. Metode atau tahapan dari pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan konsep sosial marketing (pre hospital, hospital dan pasca hospital). Sasarannya adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai bayi dan balita di Desa Kubutambahan sebanyak 143 orang yang sukarela ikut dalam pengabdian masyrakat ini. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai pada bulan Desember 2019-Pebruari 2020. Indikator dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pengetahuan sasaran meningkat. Untuk karakteristik demografi dilakukan analisis univariat. Hasil yang ditemukan bahwa pengetahuan ibu mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan informasi pentingnya MP-ASI. Hasil dari pelatihan pembuatan MP-ASI juga mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari hasil pendampingan kader, ibu sudah bisa menyiapkan makanan. Evaluasi hasilnya bahwa berat badan bayi mulai mengalami peningkatan.
Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is a major public health issue particularly in the elderly. Religion may affect the Quality of Life in such patients, mediated by factors such as religious coping and medication adherence. This study aimed to investigate the impact of religious coping and medication adherence on quality of life.Method: Diabetes mellitus is a major public health issue particularly in the elderly. Religion may affect the Quality of Life in such patients, mediated by factors such as religious coping and medication adherence. This study aimed to investigate the impact of religious coping and medication adherence on quality of life.Result: there is a significant relationship between Religious Coping and adherence to treatment in Diabetes Mellitus patients with a value of r = 0.266 (p = 0.00) and quality of life (r = 0.216; p = 0.00).Conclusion: Religious coping has an important influence and relationship on treatment adherence to diabetes mellitus sufferers and can provide motivation for sufferers in carrying out medication.
The success of the teaching-learning process is not only supported by the students but also by the teacher as central learning. In this case, students and teachers have an equally important role. The students will be enthusiastic in learning when they have good teachers in transfer information, material, and knowledge. Teaching English as a foreign language to adult students is not essay job to do. It needs kinds of strategies in teaching and method to transform knowledge into them. It is because English is difficult and not an essay to be learned for them. English language as a foreign language has so many challenges to be faced when learned it. Many factors showed that English is difficult to be learned by students at a higher level such as they are lack vocabulary, confusing to express their ideas, lazy to practice English, bored in teaching strategy, or media that lecture used. In this situation, the lecture should choose appropriate media, strategy, or method when teaching. And one of the media can be used is comic. Comics are a series of pictures that contain images and balloons to write a story. This research showed that learning by implementing comics was so significant to improve students’ willingness in learning vocabulary. It prof by the increasing mark of students in English objects, the present list was always full and the atmosphere of the classroom is so lively. The class was always happy, enthusiastic, and comfortable to follow the lesson.
This study aimed at investigating whether the implementation of hand puppet in role play gave a significant effect to the students’ speaking competency. Hand puppets are dolls that are used as media or tools used in learning activities. Types of puppets that are usually used are hand puppets made of pieces of cloth. Methods: The research design used a pre-experimental design with a one group pre-posttest design. The populations used in this study were children in B group class in Santo Rafael Singaraja. The speaking measurement used an observation sheet in which it guided by a task. The sample size used is 30 respondents who have been selected using a total sampling technique. This study used parametric statistics using Paired Sample T-test with a significant level of α = 0.05. Results: The results showed that the pre-test mean was 56.00, and the post-test mean was 68.33. The results of parametric statistical tests using the Paired Sample T-test showed pre and post results (0.000) <α (0.05), which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: This shows that there is an influence of the role-play method by hand puppet media in speaking class of Santo Rafael Kindergarten Students.
Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis Pengaruh Permainan Puzzle Geometri terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Berbicara Bahasa Inggris Anak Prasekolah di TK Wisata Kumara Barat Lovina. Desain penelitian menggunakan pra-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre-post test design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah anak usia 3-4 tahun di TK Wisata Kumara Barat Lovina dengan sampel 40 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian menggunakan statistik parametrik uji Paired t-test dengan taraf signifikan α=0,05. Didapatkan rata-rata (mean) pre-test adalah 59,00 dan rata-rata (mean) post-test adalah 75,00. Hasil uji statistik parametrik menggunakan uji Paired T-test didapatkan hasil pre dan post (0,000)<α (0,05), yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat Pengaruh Permainan Puzzle Geometri terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Berbicara Bahasa Inggris Anak Usia 3-5 Tahun di TK Wisata Kumara Barat Lovina. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan bagi TK Wisata Kumara Barat Lovina agar menerapkan puzzle geometri dalam aktifitas pembelajaran di kelas.
