Motivation and Family Acceptance in Caring for Chronic Renal Failure PatientsWith Hemodialysis By Supportive Educative Group Therapy. Patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) are terminal patients who require hemodialysis therapy to sustain life and improve their quality of life. Decrease in motivation and acceptance of the family will affect the patient, so that intervention is needed to increase motivation and family acceptance, one of which can be done through supportive educative group therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supportive educative group therapy on motivation and family acceptance in caring for CRF patients with hemodialysis therapy. This research used Pre-Experimental design with one-group pre-post test design. Sample consists of 30 respondents picked up with Accidental sampling technique. Supportive Educative group therapy interventions for 45 minutes each session, consisting of 4 sessions and conducted in 2 meetings in 1 week. Before intervention supportive educative group therapy some respondents have motivation in the low category and acceptance in the category enough. After the intervention given the majority of respondents have motivation and acceptance in the high category. The data obtained in the analysis using the statistical test Wilcoxon sign rank test, with p-value=0.005 (motivation) and p-value=0.001 (family acceptance), α=0,05 and p<α. The result of research showed there influence educative group therapy to motivation and family acceptance in treating patients with chronic renal failure who undergo hemodialysis therapy. Recommendations on the Hemodialisa RS unit can be able to apply supportive educative group therapy as a specialist therapy to provide comprehensive family nursing care and nursing services. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh supportive educative group therapy terhadap motivasi dan penerimaan keluarga dalam merawat pasien GGK dengan terapi hemodialisa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pre-Eksperimen dengan pendekatan penelitian one-group pre-post test design. Sampel terdiri dari 30 responden dengan teknik accidental sampling. Child abuse is part of the kind of violence that is characterized by any properties of hurting or harassing of sexual. Child sexual abuse is not only a negative impact on the micro level only (individual and family), but it also could have an impact on the process of social development in the future will come. Preventive child sexual abuse in school age children is not optimal due to several factors. The aim of research to analyze factors associated with child abuse prevention behavior of school-age children (6-8 years). The research design is correlational design with cross sectional approach. The population is all mothers in SDN Kawedusan 1 Kediri much as 73 mothers with a sample of 22 respondents taken by purposive sampling technique. The result showed mostly maternal age 20-35 years old, high school educated, have jobs as the private sector, knowledge of early sexual education categories of good and positive maternal attitude towards the prevention of child sexual abuse in school-age children. Based on the analysis of Spearmean rho test obtained child sexual abuse prevention behaviors in school-age children have a correlation with the mother's age factor (p = 0.021), maternal education (p = 0.028), mother's occupation (p = 0.036), knowledge mothers about early sexual education (p = 0.002) and attitude of mothers in the prevention of child sexual abuse behavior (p = 0.001). Background: The high number of Novel Coronavirus Diseases (Covid-19) cases in Indonesia has caused the public to need to receive proper education regarding the prevention and management of Covid 19, especially teenagers. Teenagers are part of the community who need to be equipped with good knowledge about Covid management in order to maintain healthy living behaviors. This preventive management education using the home learning system method is very suitable for use during the pandemic. The purpose of this community service was to increase the knowledge and skills of adolescents in taking preventive measures and the management of Covid 19. Methods: This activity includes 2 stages of providing education and demonstration using online media. The Results: Based on the results of the post-test it was found that almost all teenagers had scores of knowledge scores at 8-10 intervals after a preventive education and covid 19 management based on home learning system. The results of the skills indicator show that almost all teenagers are able to knowledge again with a score of 8-10. Conclusion: The application of the Home Learning System is very suitable for students to increase their knowledge and abilities in taking preventive and curative actions independently.
Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that requires individual ability of patients to adhere treatment of the disease recommended by doctors. Patient should be able to manage the diabetes to prevent complications by maximizing existing aspects within themselves to determine the best option available. The purpose the study was to analyze the effect of diabetes empowerment education to self empowerment and quality of life of patients with type 2 DM at the Puskesmas Bendo Kediri. Method: This study used quasy experiment design with non randomized control group pretest posttest design. Total sampel was 32 respondents divided into control group and experiment group, sample recruited by purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaire with DES (Diabetes Empowerment Scale) and DQoL (Diabetes Quality of Life). Data were then analyzed using Wilcoxon Sign rank test and Mann Whitney with level of significance of 0,05. Result: The results showed that there was a differences in self empowerment and quality of life of patients with type 2 DM after intervention. Mann Whitney analysis result`s showed that there are differences in self empowerment between control and experiment groups (p = 0,029) and there was a difference in the quality of life between control and experiment groups (p = 0,022). It can be referred from it that DEE influences self empowerment and quality of life of type 2 DM patients. Discussion: It can be concluded that diabetes empowerment education increasing selfempowerment and quality of life of patients with DM type 2. Further studies should using more objective parameters such as changes in blood sugar levels, hemoglobin A1C values to evaluate the effect of diabetes empowerment education on self-empowerment and quality of life of patients with DM. Resilience Of Efficacy of Nurse Based On Level of Stress and Work Satisfaction.A nurse must be able to balance the various stressors obtained in the work environment because they have to provide professional services to patients. This requires personal factors inherent in the nurse so as to adapt to stressful conditions. Internal factors include the ability to withstand the problem (resilience of efficacy). The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation resilience of efficacy with the level of stress and job satisfaction nurses in RS X. The research method was a correlational study with purposive sampling and sample size of 30 respondents. The instruments were used questionnaires then analyzed with Spearman rho test. Based on the result, the majority (56,7%) respondents have high category resilience of efficacy, the majority (80%) have light work stress and most of them (93,3%) have high job satisfaction. The results of research obtained, resilience of efficacy with nurse work stress level (p=0,039, cc=-0,393), resilience of efficacy with nurse job satisfaction (p-value=0,007, and cc=0,469). This means there was a correlation between the resilience of efficacy with work stress and nurse job satisfaction. It is expected that nurses need to do a good coping strategy for overcoming the problems found.
