The social development becomes one important factor in childhood development especially in the society. This study is conducted to find out the effectiveness of Project-based Learning for childhood social development. The project-based learning approach is an active learning centered in children with several characteristics, such as prioritize children dependency, constructive investigation, determination of purposes, cooperations, communications, and practices. This study uses post-test only control design. There are tow random classes selected and each class consists of 33 students. The control group continue their common learning activity while another group uses project-based learning approach. The study results that the project-based learning approach can significantly improved the social development and becomes more active in the classroom using project-based learning approach. For further result the project-based learning approach is not only use to stimulate cognitive side but also stimulate social development in early childhood education.
This study aims to improve the science process skills of children aged 5-6 years through a project-based learning model. This research is a type of quasy experiment with an equivalent time series design. The research subjects consisted of 88 group children, namely children aged 5-6 years from 6 Kindergartens in Sleman Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation. Then the data were analyzed using one way ANOVA and got the sig value. 0.00, which means that there is a difference in the mean ranking of process science skills after using a project-based science learning model, so the results of this study indicate that an effective project-based science learning model is used to improve science process skills of children aged 5-6 years.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kemandirian belajar peserta didik yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 066652 Medan Helvetia pada bulan Oktober –November 2020 Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 066652 Medan Helvetia dengan jumlah 38 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu berupa angket dan untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 066652 Medan Helvetia dengan besar korelasi 12,1%.
Cooperation is the ability to work together to complete a task with others. The process of working together children are trained to be able to suppress individual personalities and prioritize group interests. Children's learning activities at Kenanga Raya Kindergarten on the ability to cooperate are still not developed. Based on my observations, it shows that children still like to play alone and do not want to play with other friends. This study aims to improve children's cooperation skills through puzzle games at Kenanga Raya Kindergarten Medan. The subjects used in this study were group B children aged 5-6 years, totaling 9 children. Data collection is done by direct observation, performance, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the improvement of children's cooperative skills through group B puzzle games at Kenanga Raya Kindergarten Medan in the 2020/2021 academic year. This can be proven by the pre-cycle results of 25%, 52,2% in the first cycle and increased to 86% in the second cycle. So it can be concluded that puzzle games improve the cooperative ability of group B children in Kenanga Raya Kindergarten Medan.
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Perhatian Orang Tua Terhadap Minat Belajar Dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Ranto Dior. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, populasinya seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Ranto Dior, sampelnya 17 orang, teknik samplingnya menggunakan Nonprobabiliti Sampling jenis sampling purposive, instrument pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi, wawancara dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t-test dan uji Multivariate Analisist of Variance (MANOVA) dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa dari tabel output uji t-test minat belajar peserta didik nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000. Sedangkan dari tabel output uji t-test prestasi belajar peserta didik diketahui nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000. Berdasarkan kriteria pengambilan keputusan 0,000 < 0,05, maka Hoditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara perhatian orang tua terhadap minat dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Ranto Dior. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari tabel output uji Multivariate menunjukkan bahwa harga F untuk Pillai’s Trace, Wilk’s Lambda, Hotelling’s Trace, Roy’s Largest Root pada kelompok memiliki signifikansi yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,033 < 0,05. Artinya harga F untuk Pillai’s Trace, Wilk’s Lambda, Hotelling’s Trace, Roy’s Largest Root semuanya signifikan. Dengan demikian Hoditolak dan Ha diterima.
