The impact of the pandemic on higher education activities is a major concern around the world. Higher education is obliged to carry out the necessary measures of adaptation, innovation, and management change, which are promoted by leaders at various levels. The leadership is further committed to encouraging transformative changes to meet students’ most critical needs. Leadership is expected to be able to use all resources in the organization, even in limited conditions due to pandemic impacts. The crisis condition during pandemic become the main approach in implementing higher education leadership. First, the leader develops effective multi-directional communication to mediate and respond to actual needs and changes, especially involving parties impacted or affected by policy changes. Second, the leader develops a cooperation network to support mutually one another to form productivity. It is necessary to network with all interests to formulate the best solution to reduce the adverse impacts of the pandemic. Third, the leader develops empathy to encourage the work environment, increase productivity, and combine efforts to promote health on their personal and professional sides. Fourth, lecturers develop an own set of heuristics for managing their classes using technology as the main work in the new normal situation.JEL Classification A23; I00; I23
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor psikologis, faktor sekolah, dan faktor keluarga yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 2 Amlapura. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode atau pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Amlapura sebanyak 4 kelas yang berjumlah 123 siswa. Penentuan subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuisioner/angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan statistik deksriptif untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA dan analisis data kuisioner/angket dan wawancara dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 110 orang (89,9%) siswa cukup setuju faktor psikologis mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA, dan sebanyak 77 orang (62,6%) siswa cukup setuju faktor sekolah mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA, diikuti dengan sebanyak 75 orang (61,0%) siswa cukup setuju faktor keluarga mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA. Faktor psikologis, faktor sekolah dan faktor keluarga secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 2 Amlapura.
The Dasawisma group is a social community under the auspices of the PKK. Dasawisma Bougenville I Bulan Terang Utama Housing (BTU) Kedungkandang Village, Madyopuro District, Malang City has held various programs to improve the quality of life of its citizens. During the pandemic, the residents of Dawis Bougenville I experienced economic and social impacts, including challenges in terms of practical learning at home and the habit of reading children's activities. Effective learning counseling and storytelling were held to create more conducive conditions for children's motivation to learn and read. The counseling began with the initial interview and observation phase, followed by two meetings with the residents of Dawis I Bougenville and an evaluation process. At the end of the activity, the counseling participants implemented practical learning steps and storytelling. Evaluation interviews showed that around 70% of the participants felt some form of increasing children's learning motivation even though the challenges were still severe because it was related to controlling stress and emotions in uncertain situations.ABSTRAKKelompok Dasawisma ialah kelompok sosial masyarat di bawah naungan PKK. Dasawisma Bougenville I Perumahan Bulan Terang Utama (BTU) Kelurahan Kedungkandang, Kecamatan Madyopuro, Kota Malang telah mengadakan berbagai program demi peningkatan kualitas hidup warganya. Selama pandemi, kondisi warga Dawis Bougenville I mengalami dampak baik dari sisi ekonomi maupun sosial, termasuk tantangan dalam hal pembelajaran efektif di rumah dan pembiasaan kegiatan baca anak. Sebagai solusi, diadakanlah penyuluhan pembelajaran efektif dan storytelling guna menciptakan kondisi yang lebih kondusif bagi motivasi belajar dan baca anak. Penyuluhan diawali dengan tahap wawancara dan observasi awal, diikuti oleh dua pertemuan bersama warga Dawis I Bougenville serta proses evaluasi. Di akhir kegiatan, peserta penyuluhan telah menerapkan langkah pembelajaran efektif dan storytelling. Wawancara evaluasi menunjukkan sekitar 70% peserta merasakan beberapa bentuk peningkatan motivasi belajar anak walau tantangan masih berat karena berkaitan dengan pengendalian stres dan emosi dalam situasi serba tidak pasti.
Currently, dubbed version of imported films or programs are available as one of the options of content localization, aside from subtitles. Despite the potential of dubbing and dubbing translation, especially in Indonesia, not many departments in higher education institutions offer lesson in dubbing translation. This article aims to propose what topics can be covered in a dubbing translation lesson, why dubbing translation lesson is important, and what dilemmas arise in teaching dubbing translation. The study was conducted using literature review method. Future research may be done to find the gap between the translation skills required in Indonesian dubbing industry and the ones acquired by Translation students in Indonesia
