The purpose of this study was to determine the types of errors and the causes of errors made by students in solving HOTS type questions for SPLTV material based on Newman's procedure in terms of the cognitive style of class X students of Senior High School number six Denpasar. The method of this research is a qualitative method. The data was collected by means of the HOTS test, GEFT, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar which were then grouped based on cognitive styles, namely Field Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD) students and the number of errors in each cognitive style in answering HOTS questions was categorized into 3, namely errors quite complex, complex, and very complex. The average percentage of FI student errors is 38.88%. The average percentage of FD students' errors is 55.55%. The errors of students with cognitive style FD are more than students with cognitive style FI. The causes of errors in the subject of FI are (1) less calm in working on questions, (2) lack of knowledge of the steps that must be taken to solve problems, (3) lack of time in solving problems. completion process, and (4) no re-checking of written answers. The causes of FD student errors are (1) incomplete in reading the questions, (2) in a hurry to finish quickly, (3) not knowing what is known in the questions implicitly, and (4) not checking again.
ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is (1) To find out how the needs of teachers and students in learning math using E-learning based on Problem Based Learning in SMP Negeri 2 Denpasar, (2) to find out the factors of obstacle in needs planning efforts of mathematics learning using E-learning based on Problem Based Learning and (3) to find out supporting factors in needs planning efforts of mathematics learning using E-learning based on Problem Based Learning. This research is qualitative research. The subjects in the study mathematics teachers and students in grades IX 1 and IX.2. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of this study are (1) 100% of teachers fall into the category of very need and, 39.69% of students are in the category of very need, and 60.31% of students are in the category of need, (2) The obstacle factor experienced by teachers is a less stable network and licensing needs from the leadership. As for learners there are no obstacle factors experienced and (3) There are several supporting factors from teachers and students, namely the availability of devices such as mobile phones, laptops and computers and very adequate internet access. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru matematika kelas IX dan peserta didik kelas IX 1 dan IX.2. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) 100% guru masuk kategori sangat butuh, 39,69% peserta didik masuk kategori sangat butuh, dan 60,31% peserta didik masuk kategori butuh, (2) Faktor kendala yang dialami guru yaitu jaringan kurang stabil dan diperlukan perizinan dari pimpinan. Sedangkan untuk peserta didik tidak terdapat faktor kendala yang dialami dan (3) Ada beberapa faktor pendukung dari guru dan peserta didik yaitu tersedianya perangkat seperti Handphone, laptop dan komputer serta akses internet yang sangat memadai. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out how the readiness of Saraswati 1 Denpasar High School (SLUA) in the application of blended learning models in mathematics learning, to find out the supporting factors in the readiness of the blended learning application in mathematical learning, and to know the supporting factors in the readiness of the application of blended learning models in mathematical learning. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a research sample consisting of the headmaster, math teacher, and science students. These research instruments use questionnaires and interview sheets. The results showed that Saraswati 1 Denpasar High School (SLUA) is classified as a ready school in applying the blended learning model to mathematical learning, but the school needs more improvement in each readiness factor developed by Aydin & Tasci. There are some supporting factors in applying the blended learning model in mathematical learning, namely human factors in the experience criteria to implement blended learning; technological factors on the attitude criteria in using technology for blended learning; and innovation factors on the criteria for adjustment of the teacher's ability to plan the blended learning as well as the ability of students to follow the blended learning model. There are factors that inhibit the development of blended learning models in mathematical learning, namely technological factors on the criteria of the availability of facilities and infrastructure for the blended learning. Keywords: Readiness Analysis; Blended Learning; Mathematical Learning ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kesiapan SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar dalam penerapan model pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran matematika, untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dalam kesiapan penerapan model pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran matematika, dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat dalam kesiapan penerapan model pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan sampel penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru matematika, dan siswa jurusan IPA. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran matematika tergolong siap namun perlu sedikit peningkatan pada setiap faktor kesiapan yang dikembangkan oleh Aydin & Tasci. Terdapat faktor-faktor pendukung penerapkan model pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran matematika yakni faktor manusia pada kriteria pengalaman untuk melaksanakan blended learning; faktor teknologi pada kriteria sikap dalam menggunakan teknologi untuk pembelajaran blended learning; dan faktor inovasi pada kriteria penyesuaian kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran blended learning serta kemampuan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran blended learning. Terdapat faktor penghambat penerapkan model pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran matematika yakni faktor tenologi pada kriteria ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana untuk blended learning.
