Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menerapkan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) di Pesantren MTs Mizanul Ulum Sanrobone Kabupaten Takalar, serta untuk menumbuhkan minat baca para santri. Dalam menerapkan program GLS ini, metode pelaksanaannya dibagi ke dalam 3 tahap, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Di tahap persiapan, melakukan rapat terkait proses penerapan GLS di pesantren, mengidentifikasi bahan/alat serta sarana dan prasarana yang dibutuhkan, serta melakukan open donasi buku di kampus. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kegiatan penerapan GLS dilaksanakan ke dalam tiga kegiatan, yakni kegiatan pembiasaan GLS, kegiatan pengembangan GLS, dan kegiatan GLS dalam pembelajaran. Adapun pada tahap evaluasi dilakukan evaluasi dan monitoring terkait penerapan GLS yang telah dilaksanakan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan program GLS di Pesantren Mizanul Ulum terlaksana dengan lancar dan berdampak pada tumbuhnya budaya literasi dan minat baca santri di pesantren. Untuk capaian kegiatan antara lain adalah penerapan tahap pembiasaan membaca 15 menit pada jam pelajaran, menyerahkan hasil donasi buku, memasang poster motivasi literasi di ruangan kelas, menata perpustakaan dan kelas agar menarik minat belajar santri, serta mensosialisasikan kegiatan-kegiatan literasi kepada guru dan pustakawan di pesantren.
Oil palm waste (OPW), comprising mainly of empty fruit bunch, mesocarp fiber, frond, trunk, and palm kernel shell generated from the palm oil industry, was collected, characterized, and then pyrolyzed to evaluate their potential to be converted into biochar. Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunches (OPEFB) are a source of organic material with abundant nutrients and are highly potentially useful as biochar. This article provides experimental data for the production of biochar at a temperature range of 100 to 300 °C at time of 4 to 8 hours. The chemical components examined are pH, CEC, C-Organic, N-total, C/N, K dd, P, Ca, Mg, and Na, using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The results showed that organic C, nitrogen, and pH were highest at 200–300 °C and had a burning time of 8 hours. Furthermore, the highest concentrations of P, Ca, and Mg were recorded at 200–300°C after 5 hours, Kdd at 100–200 °C after 5 hours, and Na and CEC at 200–300 °C after 4 hours. The transmittance intensity produced by the spectrum of hydroxyl (O-H) vibrations, carbonyl stretching (C=O), alkanes (-CH), and aromatics (C=C) decreased with increasing time, while stretching alcohol (C-O) vibrations increased with time. Our results demonstrate that OPEB is a biowaste that shows exceptional promise to be transformed into high-grade biochar rather than simply disposed of by landfilling or burning.
This study discusses the Marketing Funding Strategy in Increasing the Number of Customers at BNI Syariah Parepare Bank. Strategy in a bank is very important because with a good strategy it will facilitate the main job for a marketing funder where a marketing funder is responsible for increasing the number of bank customers. Related to this, the purpose of this research is to find out the Marketing Funding Strategy in Increasing the Number of Customers at BNI Syariah Parepare Bank. The type of research used in this thesis is a qualitative descriptive method, the source of research data, namely primary data is data obtained directly in the field based on interviews with informants, namely with customers and employees of funding Bank BNI Syariah Parepare and secondary data obtained from several supporting sources such as books, journals and other data sources related to the research title. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The theory of strategy used in this research is planning, implementation and evaluation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The strategic planning carried out by marketing funding in increasing the number of customers at BNI Syariah Parepare is to determine the target goals first, while the target goals of marketing funding at BNI Syariah Parepare are institutions and individual customers. 2) The implementation of the strategy carried out by marketing funding to achieve these goals is by conducting outreach to agencies and for individual customers by conducting direct door to door visits to introduce BNI Syariah products. 3) Evaluation of the strategy carried out by marketing funding at BNI Syariah Parepare is by reviewing internal and external factors, assessing the performance that has been carried out by looking at the achievement of targets whether these targets can be achieved and continue to increase or not and if not achieved then the next step is to carry out One of the corrective actions taken is to continue to improve Islamic bank products and programs so that they are able to attract public interest.
