Higher education institutions in implementing information systems need strategic planning, especially for Polytechnics in Indonesia. It is intended that the application of the information system is in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of the Polytechnic. The Polytechnic information system strategic planning uses the Enterprise Architecture Planning method. The Enterprise Architecture Planning method provides an overview of data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture from the application of information systems so that the Polytechnic is not wrong in implementing information systems. The result of this research is the form or formulation of information system strategic plan which is suitable for higher education especially for Polytechnic. The information system strategic plan consists of a data architecture, there are 41 entities, while for data and application architectures there are 8 application candidates. In addition, the results of the information system strategic plan in the technology architecture section to support the Polytechnic business processes are also built.

Technology in the tourism sector is not only used as a promotional medium, but technology is also a learning medium for entrepreneurs in the tourism sector so it is important for the tourism sector to have an information system as a medium for disseminating information. The Jambi City Tourism Information System is an information system that contains a collection of information data that summarizes information about the region, province or tourism place in the city of Jambi which is compiled in a web-based information system, with this information system it can make it easier for the public to obtain information, accelerating the service of information sources. The design of the tourism information system in the city of Jambi is built in a web-based form with system design assisted by several tools such as the programming language PHP, Javascript, MySQL, Xampp, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
The use of information technology in business is an important thing to implement in order for businesses to gain competitive advantage. In order to provide superior value to customers or potential customers, companies can implement mobile advertising. Mobile advertising is an advertising service on smartphones and mobile devices that can access content in various forms, from simple text messages to interactive content. This study aims to design a Location-Based Service (LBS) based mobile advertising for advertising and promotion. The method in this study uses the waterfall method with the programming language in this system using Java. This application system runs on the Android operating system. The database used is MySQL. This system can be operated on the Android system to be used for promotion.
Sistem penilaian kinerja ini dapat membantu Perguruan Tinggi dalam mengambil keputusan terhadap pekerjaan yang belum dilaksanakan dan mempermudah pihak personalia (SDM) dalam menentukan Dosen berprestasi serta dapat meningkatkan akreditasi perguruan Tinggi, selama ini monitoring dari pekerjaan masih dilakukan secara manual masih mengumpulkan laporan hardcopy , dan dalam mengevaluasi pekerjaan dosen membutuhkan waktu lama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Perancangan Prototyping Sistem Informasi Penilaian Kinerja Dosen Perguruan Tinggi yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pinilaian dan evaluasi kinerja dosen Perguruan Tinggi untuk menunjang Akreditasi dimana sistem ini dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Tujuan selanjutnya adalah mengimplementasikan sistem penilaian kinerja dosen pada perguruan tinggi. Dengan demikian akreditasi perguruan tinggi dapat di tingkatkan.
