This study is aiming at finding out the impact of Tayub exploitation on the tradition and life of Javanese society. Research approach implemented in this study was qualitative. In addition, the research technique employed was interview, observation, documentation, and literary study. Results show that the new form of Tayub diminishes the structure of feminism, neglects simplicity, gentleness and spontaneity that are supposed to be part of Tayub dance. The movement of dance, music, and costume are also changed into a total different form, compared with the genuine version of Tayub dance. These major changes do not only bring negative impacts on the dance structure, but also change the society's mindset and behavior. People living in the countryside part of Java have lost their control towards customs' regulation and a philosophy that used to be held tightly by them.
SLB Purna Yuda Bhakti Surabaya merupakan Sekolah yang menerapkan pembelajaran Seni Tari untuk Tunarungu. Tujuan penelitian yaitu (1) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran seni tari untuk siswa Tunarungu yang dilakukan di SLB Purna Yuda Bhakti Surabaya, (2) mendeskripsikan dampak pelaksanaan pembelajaran seni tari untuk siswa Tunarungu yang dilakukan di SLB Purna Yuda Bhakti Surabaya. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu mengumpulkan data dan menyimpulkan, memberi penjelasan serta uraian mengenai keseluruhan data didapat dari penelitian, dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan simpulan berdasrkan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rencana Pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Seni tari di SLB Purna Yuda Bhakti Surabaya dibuat oleh Guru dan telah disesuaikan dengan kemampuan setiap individu. Metode Komtal dalam pembelajaran Seni Tari dapat mempermudah siswa dalam belajar, setiap individu akan dapat berkomunikasi sesuai dengan kemampuannya masing-masing tanpa tekanan dari siapapun. Pendekatan Guru yaitu Individual, dengan maksud agar dapat lebih mudah mengetahui kelebihan dan kelemahan tiap individu. Pembelajaran seni tari memiliki dampak yang positif bagi siswa Tunarungu di antaranya melatih diri tentang keindahan, keharmonisan, pengaturan emosi, kesabaran, pengendalian diri, dan juga kepekaan rasa.
Realm of entertainment music develops along with technological developments, one of which is the use of music sequencers in musical performances. This article discusses the results of developing music production skills through music sequencer training in the Pare String ensemble community. The research data in this training took 40 participants (n = 40) from members of the community. The training was carried out in five meetings. The results of the research show that the development of training achievement reaches 90% which consists of 4 elements of training material, namely DAW theory, DAW operational, recording theory, sequencer music design.The results of this training can be an investment for this community by increasing the skills and knowledge of its members, so as to increase the credibility of the community in their careers.
